I'm not trying to be mean, but can't think of any way to say what I'm about to say less bluntly and thus I am sorry in advance:

If they took a standard turn to set up, wouldn't the book have directly mentioned that instead of leaving you to puzzle it out on your own?

No problem, man. I've been thinking about this topic for a while. That's why I brought it up here when CS mentioned it.

The thing is, the PG doesn't really explain that those interrupts are exceptions to the standard rules, so my first thought would be that they'd still have to be set using standard actions. It's not clarified one way or the other, and that's what's bothered me. It's one grey area that I'd like clarification on - but I guess it can just be a GM call too.

Is so powerful in taking a hugely damaging attack and throwing it somewhere else, for the low cost of 3 pips. You can take an attack of much higher pip cost and, at least for you, completely negate it.

That talent and others like it are the bread and butter of my character in Pony Team Bravo. It's not quite that useful if you're fighting multiple foes though, as it's hard to get the PiPs to really use it often.

Im not saying it need proliferate use, but for instance, using it instead of eating an " It's Over " will probably be a get out of dead free card.

So as it stand, we will be starting this friday the 24th at 9PM with three members. Next week AlicornPriest will be joining in.

Turns out Fridays in October are gonna be a problem for me- Learned my schedule for work is the night shift then IF I work that day.
Weekday nights and weekend days Eastern time are best but the friday issue is ONLY October.

Well, lets see how it works out and who stays on until closer to octobertimes, and perhaps we can work out a new time/date then.

I imagine Theorycraft would be a newcomer to the city, probably interested in investigating the mysterious happenings in the area by digging through the trash bins and shaking down ponies for information.

I'm thinking a Lovecraftian inspired Elder Sign with an eye in the center. So basically a five pointed, interlocking star representing conspiracies - with the eye in the center representing investigation, and thus, perception.

I already thinkthat Pristine's gonna take Dangerous, Never Say Die, and Talented (That order most likely), and have the Miracle Worker Destiny (Maybe?)

Those look like some pretty powerful changes to the combat talents. I'd say its at least 20% cooler.
