Koishite stares at the mares and chuckles. "You two are almost as pushy as she was." He walks over and lifts up the locket and music box with a wing. "These were the original owner's. I don't even have a cutie mark for shopkeeping." He laughs, showing the duo of hearts on his flank. "I need to be careful that somepony doesn't buy these until she comes back. That's really about it." Koishite has a small smile and puts them back down. "But really, who wants to listen to an Old fart like me, get back to work." +3

Koishite chuckles a bit darkly as he walks away.

"Her???" Zeela mused out loud to herself then got back to work... She was almost finished and it was nearly time to try and meet up with Brash.

((Yeah, I think we'll let it lie a bit for now. ))

"Oh, I see...A girl, huh...?" Still, the way he chuckled and walked away, it was something that might be best pursued later...She went back to work, putting her effort into finishing up her tasks as well...It was getting close to noon, after all...

George rubs his beak.
"I see. I hope she turns up. I'll keep an eye out and tell her you're worried if I see her."
and walks off before he can get an answer.
A runner was mentioned on the news last night and now one has disappeared? Hopefully this is only a coincidence I mean no one new has appeared, but Star Power's shadow did mention a guest...

Everyone meets up at Junes and Shiro downs some Blood Orange sorbet a nice stallion got for him.

(last night) Some trashy local interest story was going on. Some excuse to show a local filly's flanks for some cheap ratings. Apparently one of the patrons really liked the show, though, really enthusiastic about it. The earth pony himself didn't much care, but if it makes the customer happy, might as well let it go. Personally he was a bit leery of that TV.

Business slowed as night grew dark and eventually the shop closed up. Icing brought the good old mop across the floors. Of course it is always the last customers of the night that spill their cones. Must have been a bit tipsy on something. He usually assumed they were. The TV midnight channel went on and announced a guest. This stalled the slight stallion slightly. A variation on the last time. It would be expected to discuss this in the morning.

(The day) The morning passes uneventfully. Come mid-day, he walks over the street to Junes, and once finding him, gets eye-level to Shirou with a smile.

"Hey White, you scouting out the competition?" He asks, but in such a tone that its clear there's nothing accusatory. Ponies did all the time, after all. His business was a cut-throat one, even if it didn't seem like it, and tastes were transient. The current four ice cream stores was completely unsustainable in such close proximity, even if the town consumed an above-average amount of it.

Zeela meets up with Brash and starts looking for a good phone place to help him buy one. "You know, your lucky... I wish I had somepony helping me when I went to buy my first phone."

"Yeah I bet that was tricky. Speaking of, how did you even get here from Equestria?" Brash asks.

"Just traveled the world..." Zeela said with a shurg. "Had some things happen in Equestria that made me need to leave it to help clear my head."

"That must have been quite the trip but, you're making it sound so simple." Brash replies.

"It's not hard if you know where you can get help."
George looks concerned at Shiro's presence.
"You did lock the doors when you left right Shiro?"

"Of course, George." Shiro smiles, eating the last of the sorbet. "So... What's the plan for today? I kind of want to stop in the TV world for a bit to check things.

"Yeah... Most of the travel was a blur... And nothing compaired to the stories I've heard my dad say about traveling..." Zeela said with a shrug as they walked.

streetsmarts check:

Melody had been listening to Zeela and Brash talk as they walked, but paused for a moment, seeing Zeela didn't look like she really knew where she was going...Maybe it would be best to take a look herself...It shouldn't be that hard to find a store that sold phones...

Zeela thanks both Melody and George's help in getting to a Phone Shop in Junes... Next she goes to talking to the closest salepony she can see to try and get a feel for if they were on the level or not.

Perception check:

Brash can easily find a cheap phone, which he proceeds to tinker with and make a lot better as the group gets back together in the food court. A pair of ponies come up, looking worried. "Excuse me, have any of you seen our daughter?"

Melody glanced up as they approached, looking thoughtful, but shaking her head. "I don't know...who is she? Er, better question, what does she look like? If I see her, I'll try and let you know where she is, or better yet, get her back to you." Someone was missing, huh...? Come to think of it, she hadn't seen Star around either...That was worrisome as well...She glanced at the others, hoping one of them would know more.

Zeela starts thinking to herself if she had by chance seen any children by themselves in the mall.

Thinking Check:

"Fu Chitu" The stallion says, looking around. "Green unicorn mare with a green and brown mane with four horseshoes for her cutie mark.."
A whistle-wearing pony walks up to them and says, "Might've seen her on TV last night."

Zeela: Only Shiro really fits that Description at this moment in time, although the 'alone' part is gone.

"OH... You mean that Sports Star?" Zeela asked.

"Yes, she went to bed last night and disappeared. I thought she went running, but Fu Chitu hadn't talked to her coach here..."
"It's a bit worrisome."

Brash just shakes his head, pretending to be preoccupied with fiddling with the phone.

"Ah, other than on the TV, I haven't seen her...Sorry. But if I see her, you'll be the first to know!" Melody nodded, her expression serious for a moment, trying to think of where a child could have gone at the moment.
