"Hmph," Quarrel pouted slightly, unable to catch more than Rarity's disgust at her presence, which really wasn't all that interesting or unexpected.

Gears recalls that the Mage isn't with them, but back in his sub... Fixing it and stuff...

(OOC: Please tell me that somebody recalls why you're here? Or was I was just a bit unclear about it?)

"We were called to investigate a Smooze infection, and were told you could help, m'am," said Ivana.

"Oh yes... I vagely recall reading the scroll..." The Dragon replied with a frown.

Scroll's head jerked up suddenly to look at Rarity, having been distracted. "What? ...Oh, that scroll. Never mind, then."

Gears slaps himself lightly with his hoof for making such a simple mistake, but flinches as he touches his swollen eye. He just hangs his head in shame after that.

Then the big white dragon pulls out some gas-mask-ish items out. "Now normally I don't really care for these, but for dealing with Smooze, sometimes this is the best you've got to help keep you from being fully taken over." Next she hands one of each of the masks over to the party with her telekinic magics.

Gears accepts the floating gas mask and studies it briefly before storing it in his saddlebag. "Are these uh...your design?"

Mechanics & Arcana for seeing what makes this smooze-proof:

Klaue adds his mask to the contents of his bag.
"Thank you Miss."

Gears is able to figure out these gas-mask fuel a mix of chaos and hamory engeries into the lungs and therefore the bloodsystem to help counteract smooze in one's systems. Also you can notice that the magics of the gas-mask are able to tell the best levels of the two engeries to help one's own engeries. So for Quarrel the gas-mask would do 5% harmony with 95% chaos, but for Ivana it'd be 5% chaos and 95% harmony... These thing would help greatly with Smooze revoery and give one a good defence aganst being smoozed to begin with as well.

Ivana puts on her mask, trusting that the Element of Generosity doesn't have it trapped and that she is telling the truth.

"Do we need to be wearing these right now?" Ersa asked.

"Make sure to put them on when you exit the cave... The water's not to be trusted around here." Rarity cryptically states. "And by the way, no I didn't design those guddy things... But I did make them... Function trumps form when it comes to Anti-Smooze Gear. And trust me when I say, you're better off not knowing how they work."

Gears looks at the dragon somewhat confused, not sure why it's better not knowing about the combination of chaotic and harmonic energies, but decides not to press the issue.

Perception:

During the awkwardly long pause before anyone else says anything, Gears looks around the cave and spies a rabbit staring very intently at Klaue. Gears gently nudges Klaue and gestures with a questioning hoof toward the rabbit.
I initially had "gestures questioningly," but I can't read that without laughing and thinking it's like a pelvic thrust towards the rabbit xD

Klaue glances over at it and carefully shifts his weight.
Those stars damned rabbits...
"I'll deal with it."
before leaping at the rabbit with a roar.
Roll (Acrobatics: Catch that rabbit!)

Roll:

And tanks to Klaue's frightful roar, he catches a Moon Rabbit in his claws... What do you do now?

Gears falls back startled, expecting neither the roar nor the leap.

Klaue holds the rabbit up to his eye-level.
"Why do you rabbits keep following me!?"

Gears sits up and looks at Klaue, concerned that the griffon who had appeared very sane might not be. "Klaue...it's a rabbit. It can't..."

Ersa looks at the rabbit with the eyes of a predator but otherwise says nothing, waiting to see how the others treat it before risking social awkwardness.

Something about the rabbit... Is somewhat reminding her of the moon for some reason.

Ersa recalls that this rabbit is in fact the same breed she had seen on the moon and have eatten many of it's kind... But she recalls that they never had talked, nor even seemed all that smart or even very sentient.
