Dragoon go through the motions of throwing his lance and at the normal point of release fires off a pale lance of energy. The energy then flows back into Dragoon.

combat:

At this point, every single one of the Navis regurgitate another Navi. Their combined yelling makes it nigh impossible to hear anything else.

((At the beginning of the fight, I thought Navi might be like a support to Link. Targeting one of us, he deals extra damage and gains resistance to target or something. But apparently she just annoys everybody. Also, I felt like foreshadowing because these dice, man. These dice.))
The owl begins humming a tune that the Hero of Time should be sure to recognize, and somehow a cloud begins to gather at the top of the cavern. Electricity continues to spark around the owl, though this seems more like static than the early arcs.

Whatever strange magic Distant Cloud drew on didn't need much to induce Link to swipe at Navi2, although she dodged it without much effort, although the small spark the owl gave off did hit her.

Shaking his head, Link charges at the group once more, using his Spin Attack to great effect and dealing 16 damage to Night, Toxin, and Busy Bee.

Night lowers his mask, before leaping at Link. He gets in three strikes, throws a smoke bomb to his feet, and then jumps back.

Night's furious onslaught fells all but one of the Navis and two of his strikes on Link land true. However, Link counterattacks quite effectively, deflecting two of Night's strikes with his sword and following up with a vicious strike that fells Night with a whopping 29 damage. Nonetheless, Link is looking quite weary at this point.

As Night is struck back by Link, he manages to get in one more hit before falling unconscious.

Night manages one last slash... that Link effortlessly blocks with his shield.

Toxin, the noise greatly distracting her, spits a glob of acid at Navi, figuring that Link probably would just make her attack worthless, then kill her.

Swarm two starts taunting Link. buzzing in his face, trying to land on his arm and crawl into his tunic. [+1] Talent - Spook: Target creature suffers a -2 penalty on its damage rolls (save ends).

Unable to deal with all the bees at once, Link wears a look of extreme discomfort. Nonetheless, he swipes at them with his sword, dealing 6 damage and killing the bees.

As Link swipes his sword, the bees zoom towards him, intent on giving their lives for the hive...

...unfortunately, Link barely manages to block the bee stings with his shield, those that weren't already blocked by his clothing.

Dragoon beats his wings and takes off circleing the combat zone.

And Navi burps up another Navi... which promptly dies from the lingering acid in Navi1's mouth.

"Hey!" the living Navi protests.

"Hay is for perfectly normal ponies like me." said Toxin.

I couldn't resist.

Navi looks briefly confused. "...Listen!" she eventually says.

((I fully expect Link to mirror shield this, but I can't pass up the opportunity to roll this many dice.))
Cloud finishes the song, and looks solemnly to Link. "I am sorry...hero of time." The cloud at the top of the cavern makes a loud crack of thunder before a column of electricity shoots down, striking Link, as well as any parasprites that were not cut down by Night.

Unable to deflect the blast, Link is struck full-force. When the lightning is over, only a charred unicorn and a pile of Parasprite-shaped ashes remain.

Huh. Link didn't even kill any of you. Discord needs to step up his game. And of course by Discord I mean me. XD

"Where did the pony with the sword go?" asked Toxin. "And what is wrong with our friend in black?"

Cloud shifts back to bison form and heaves a great sigh, a frown adorning his features. He steps over to Night and attempts to apply what little he knows of healing.

"The hero of time is a mighty warrior...our ally here bore the front of his attention and has taken much damage. It will take time to revitalize them."

Cloud's not able to do much, but he does get Night bandaged up. Then...



The entire party is healed up, with Night regaining consciousness (the dead bees, however, remain dead).
