Lunaris Civitas Summaries

As the final blow is dealt Alicorn begins to thrash around no longer able to control his body. In the midst of his convolutions his eyes and horn begin to glow with a unsettling dark aura. In a brief moment of control he looks into the eyes of each member of the group seemingly staring into your very souls. For the scant moments that each of you lock eyes with the Alicorn you begin to relive your worst experiences. This magic effects Ultima profusely forcing out a scream. Immediately after reaching the end of the group the aura fades and the Alicorn collapses.

From behind you can hear a light snoring and from above approaching hoofsteps.

Cloudy, just starts to chuckle after his eyes got locked with the alicorn and recalled his worst point in his life... His wife's death of course... "How, very, fitting... To recall... That of all things after such a great fight... Can't ever seem to enjoy the good without getting the bad... The rest of you alright?" He asked as the tears started to run down his face.

Lilly peeks her head down the trapdoor. "Is the fighting over?" She took one look over everyone down there and looked slightly confused. "Why did you scream, what's going on?"

"Just... Got sent into my own worst memory..." Cloudy said. "Think the same happened for the rest..."

“The horrors! PAIN NO NO WHY!?” Ultima appears to be delirious. Additionally the hoofsteps are now just outside the chamber that Lilly is in.

Cloudy also walks over to so his suport Storm Blade's comfering words. "Yeah, don't worry little one, whatever you saw, isn't now but in the past. You're fine now and we'll keep you safe... I swear to Celestia, that we'll keep you safe."

((OOC: I'll roll for assist if dice rolls are needed.))

Ultima murmurs "Thank you" and pulls Storm Blade's wing closer.

Last Time on Lunaris Civitas... Storm Blade, Cloudy Sky, and Lilly abandoned their comrades leaving them leaving them in the clutches of Beta the assistant to Doctor Evo. With help from their ally Ultima the trio explored the basement laboratory but found nothing but death and gore. They then decided to teleport into the upper laboratory fearing for the lives of their friends. Immediately they managed to find the chamber in which Doctor Evo was going to perform his twisted experiments. At first Lilly sneaked in in order to investigate upon returning Cloudy Sky barged in burning with rage in an effort to intimidate managing to at the very least surprise the assistants after Doctor Evo manged to tally his assistants Storm Blade tried diplomacy but was sabotaged by Cloudy ranting about real science apposed to mad science. In the ensuing combat both Cloudy and Storm sustained major injuries nearly removing them combat but slowly the tide turned with Storm Blade living up to his name and Lilly shooting great balls of fire. As soon as the mad scientists were defeated Cloudy bound them with a rope made out of quickly transfigured metal and glass. And so Cloudy begins his watch over his captured comrades and Storm Blade and Lilly venture back into the manor to find the source of the mystic blizzard.

"It should be fine," commented Lilly. "They're weakened from the fight. Besides, he'll only be alone until those two get up."

In a flash of light Storm Blade, Lilly, and Ultima are teleported from the entrance to the lab to a three part door latched by a strange black iron ring. "It should be in there but I can't go in..." Ultima whispers.

"I-I want to help but... " She steps back and points her hoof at the iron ring "That ring repels magic and I can't control mine enough"

"Fine, fine... we'll go look for whatever-it-is and you just sit out here." Lilly says, tugging on the ring.

Nothing happens as Lilly tugs the ring downward however you can now see that if you push up the ring the door would unlock.

Lilly stuck her tongue out at Storm Blade as he opened the door.

Fury of the Tempest wrote:Storm Blade sighed in relief at this, glad that nothing bad had happened. Stepping forwards, he carefully pushed the ring up to unlock the door and then push it open, being wary of any traps or surprises.

As Storm Blade pushs up the ring into the upright position it clicks and you can see electricity flowing into it creating a pale glow. Very rapidly the glow expands pushing Storm Blade and then Ultima into the far wall.

It comes to Cloudy Sky's attention that Doctor Evo has been awake for a few seconds now.

Try as he might Storm Blade can not break free.

"So what fate do you have in store for me?" Doctor Evo calls out to you as a light thumping noise comes from beneath.

"Mmm... Still mulling that over for the moment." Cloudy admits then after a five second pause. "You know, Madponies like you allow those dumb ingorent Alicorn Desizenists Zealots to keep ranting that Evolution is a wrong, evil, and rest of what junk they say..."
