Re: *Official Handbooks* in One Easy Location!
It looks like a simple permissions problem – just drop Shadow Dragon (the original creator of the character sheet) a PM and let him know about it and I'm sure it'll get sorted out pretty quickly. Funny no one's noticed it before though...

Actually, 2.0 was uploaded by Kindulas. I had attempted an update of the original and then there was some back and forth discussion from the community of how to update it.

Ah, ok. Then that is whom you need to address about the matter.

Could you add the newly-updated Character Sheet Template(s) to the series of links? Simpler than looking for it in the handbook.

Updated the original post with a link to the new Destinies, with a smaller link to the old ones below it for comparison.

I've updated the original post with the new Abilities and Destinies documents. The old versions of the documents have all been archived in a new thread here.

Amazing how many changes we've gone through since a year and a half ago.

Question: Is there a super handbook, were all of the relevant information is in one document? I would really like a PDF of all of them in one file on my tablet.

There isn't any up-to-date super-handbook that I'm aware of. We've found that developing super-handbooks is less useful for quick-reference and it takes a lot of time to keep just one form of handbook updated - so we've prioritized the multi-doc version. It shouldn't be hard to make your own though, just a bit of copying and pasting. Keep subscribed to the erratta thread and you can follow any updates in parallel.

Not sure if this is the right place to post it, but I just noticed something - in the Combat Talents document, "Conjure Spectre" is listed twice - once under Necromancer and once under Alchemist, and not at all under Conjurer.

I think there used a thread for posting errors and other things for review, but this works. The Conjure Spectre under Alchemist definitely seems out of place; I'll see if it should perhaps be moved.

Re: *Official Handbooks* in One Easy Location!
Thanks for pointing this out Dusk Raven. It's likely a typo. Currently the policy is to double-list conjurations under both the conjurer and the category they're most mechanically tied to. It was probably supposed to be pasted under conjurer and was accidentally pasted under alchemist instead.

Whenever I try and copy something, or if I just click too much, on the Abilities document(s), it causes an error message to pop up which forces reloading of the document. Am I the only one with this problem?

Re: *Official Handbooks* in One Easy Location!
Sadly not. I know many other people are getting it. It happens on any document you only have the ability to read. Documents which you can edit or comment on are fine. Here are some possible workarounds which may or may not help (it seemingly is random on if they do or not for each person):
- Disable All Extensions
- Try in Private Browsing / Incognito Mode
- Try in a different browser

What works for me is using the File-->make a copy function of Google Docs to make a version of the document where you have editing privileges.

Re: *Official Handbooks* in One Easy Location!
Could someone please upload PDF copies of the books? Google Docs is hard to make print out the books with the comment things. I have one hard copy from when I managed to get them to print properly a while back but now I need more copies for my friends and I can't get them to print right.
Re: *Official Handbooks* in One Easy Location!
Google Docs actually allows you to download the documents into numerous forms, including pdf. It would be easier to pick and choose what you need since there's a variety of documents. Plus, PT/LL and WL have Word versions of the character sheets that would be better for offline prints.

Re: *Official Handbooks* in One Easy Location!
The Google Docs system is presumably the thing at fault for the issues with printing. The markers that say there should be a comment explaining that part in more detail are still there and print, however the comments themselves aren't printing but show up in the interface. Using the system to download it as RTF, ODT, DOC, or PDF doesn't download a version that keeps the comments either.
I'm not saying they should stop using Google Docs entirely. I'm just saying uploading separate PDF copies of the "release" versions so that they can be easily downloaded for offline use and later printing.

Re: *Official Handbooks* in One Easy Location!
Thinking this over, I think part of the problem is that Google Doc notes aren't really meant to do what we're currently using them for. I think they're meant more for work-in-progress notes on the document, whereas the kind of information they currently contain would be better served by footnotes, which could be printed out without a problem. It looks like the inability to print the notes is the root problem here, but providing separate PDF forms of the documents would be a significant amount of work given the number of documents and the amount of formatting in them, plus there's the fact that ensuring parity between two different copies of the same document is very difficult. I won't rule it out, but it's a tricky issue. I'll run footnotifying all the notes by Dan, and if he doesn't object I'll see about doing so in the next few days. And if that doesn't solve your problem we can maybe see about PDF versions.

Re: *Official Handbooks* in One Easy Location!
If it does solve my problem I can upload a PDF copy pretty easily. I have Acrobat X Pro which includes a PDF Virtual Printer. That's actually how I tend to do test prints for things like this.
Somewhat offtopic but is there some way to implement a default text color option for my posts? Gets annoying having to put a <color=#000000>(HTML for example so it doesn't get parsed) in every post to have the text be the proper black that should be default in a color scheme like that of this site.

The color selector doesn't seem to take that long to use. Select, click, click, and suddenly color.

In a roundabout way, changing the comments into inline footnotes might be needed by sheer virtue of most of the comments still being broken from when Google was messing with things a few months ago. Though, that might possibly bring up a need to simply reword a few things.
