Whoops, typo. In the board version, there's a melee version and a ranged version.

Since you made some major changes to some of the traits, what happens to traits you've already got, but now have a major nerf, or do something different?


And was there any specific reason for Die Another Day being nerfed to -12, especially seeing as you already capped it by making it have a prerequisite of Never Say Die ( which changes your comatose and kill values massively already)?

Die Another Day was, compared to the rest of the traits, over-powered. All of our testers took Die Another Day because of the amount of sheer survivability it gave them. It still really strong; and Dan at one point wanted to just cut it. Part of what makes it so good is that when you are under -0 hp anything that heals you heals from 0. So if you were at -10 hp and someone used the basic Healing Salve they just healed you from -10 to 1d10+2. Netting 1d10+12 hp. Its just so good it needs to have a pre-req.

Nehiel's correct.

As for your other question, if traits you previously were using have been changed in any way - the traits you were using are no longer legal in the system. If your DM still allows you to use them, that's fine, but they were changed because they were either overpowered, underpowered or poorly designed in their previous forms. We no longer consider the old versions to be legal in the system.
