Templates Talk

Templates are, in effect, add-ons to racial profiles. If a pony can become, say, a vampire, then vampires are a template, not a race. So... yeah, post them here! We'll figure out how to implement them later.

Oh, I have an idea, how about when making a template, you essential flip out one of your original race's abilities and swap it with something else from the new template. I imagine this would help keep things balanced. Either that or you will have to create a good ability and an equally bad ability to keep the balance of the game. (I remember how broken some of the templates in dnd could be: half-dragons, half-celestials, crazy things.)
