[Game] Satisfying Values

"We're just starting the tutorial quest apparently." The dark blue unicorn said, turning to her. "After we finish that we'll get our names and cutie marks, so it will be much easier to converse. So let's not waste time."

The pegasus makes a bit of a face, not... to enthused about strange pony looking at his flanks. "Not really, but I know my talent's more or less being a pony of prescence." The pegasus, finally, flaps his wings and pats his chest as he flies in the air beside him. A semi-large gust of wind pushing against the pony in front of him from his large wings beat and the pegasus grins down. "Physical, or social."

"Oh, good! I just hope they get super close to what our Cutie Marks would actually be, when we get them." She smiled, then frowned, then "hablubufbalbfodbu! Sorry, still getting used to this..." and she sits.

The pink pegasus looks around, up and down, left and right. "Okay? I don't know if I'm into the whole horrors thing though... I thought this was more cheerful."

"You clearly don't know me... Nor this realm..." Question Mark comment's cryptically.

"I guess I don't!" The pegasus replies cheerfully. "I'm sure I'll learn."

Her voice hops down half an octave "...Or die trying?" She laughs and returns her tone to normal. "Nah, just learn for now."

The party gets a wierd look from Bungie. "You don't have cutie or names? I suppose I could help you out a bit. This area is treacherous, but I wouldn't say it's that horrible like you are talking about, though. Here, follow me."

As he turns around, text appears above the player's heads in a burst of confetti.

"Achievements? Huh... Maybe we can use those points for something." The blue unicorn remarked before following Bungie.

"Well, let's get tø it. I'm løøking førward tø seeing what this pläce has tø øffer." comments Valkyrie, flying up to alongside the earth pony, clearing her throat.

"*Ahem* Aye, we be strängers tø this bränch øf the wørld tree. What be this realm cälled?" she says, trying her best to get into character.

"Well I believe if I am not mistaken is it not the Realm known as Equestria? But I bet this one isn't akin to the one I am more used to existing within... Bet the Royal Princesses aren't in a spy war in this timeline..." APC's pony mused.

"Um... What?" She looks around at the group of ponies she somehow joined. "What exactly have I gotten myself into?"

The pegasus, hums quietly, flying around gently and smiling. "~I love flying in this new place. Je-t'aime flying in the trees." That's great Mic, keep going. "~It's a forest not a sea, which'd be wetter~' I like water." he nudges one of the others with his hoof as he flies by, practicing. "But now it's really better, cause." He took a deep breath and continued with a happy grin. "Bungie came to help us, came to save us, is a new friend, helping us here, leaving this place, and we'll follow him, and have fun and laugh!" The pegasus landed, bowing. "Sorry, just felt like singing."
"Oui, my friends, come on sing along with me! Oui Miss Pink, come on fly along real free! Oui miss orange, come on! Let's!" Mic goes to sing again, half expecting somepony to try and shut him up.

APC just brakes out laughing hard at the singing... It was a bit too much for the Brony to hear and not crack up.

"Welcome to Equestria Online." He said, chuckling.

She starts muttering to herself. "Welcome to Equestria Online... W-E-O... Weo... Great, now I have a repeat-after-me song stuck in my head."

'Miss pink' laughs. "That's not even a rhyme!"

She tries flying, and seems to be having trouble with the controls, swerving a bit erratically. "Frenchie Mike and clever tykes are flying through the trees, to bring sunlight and hearts so bright to everyone: you's and me's."

...It's not a singing voice, but at least its cheerful.

In the real world... APC had dropped his ponypad and is just on the floor laughing.

She looks up. "I suspect those will be getting really annoying really quickly..."

Mic's grin widens more as he chuckles and does a small jig in his hooves. "Like I said. Just comes naturally to me. This is a nice town." The pony whistles, looking at it and chuckling.

"Hey, it's never annoying if you get money for it!" He chuckled again.

About this time Question Mark/APC has calmed down enough to speak again... "Hehe, that was great... Pure pony lulz, haha...."

"It's really pretty. I don't think it will be a worry."

The achievements are shrugged off. Video game design 101, you give a lot of achievements early on to catch the players, and then much more infrequently as time goes on. They wouldn't be a nuisance soon enough, especially if bits of... bits ever amounted to anything usable.  Though character wasn't about to be broken for letting them know this. Of course, an achievement for a short ditty means there'd be one for a really long one.

'Woglinde, wachst du allein?' The face behind the makeshift game setup smirks. That would be a project and a half to make appropriate for this setting.

"What do we do with the city? Explore? Meet folks?"

"What else would you do here? Lots of ponies to meet! If you need me just look for the highest shop on the cliff. See ya later!" With that, he runs off, leaving the party alone. if they look closely they can see him climbing a rope straight up the cliff side and the many buildings on the side. The market sits before the party, and everything there, from fooderies to workshops to government building, looks to be well-marked and ready for perusal.
