[Streetwise, I'd say.]

Final Initiative Order:
Goat Head: 19
Zakhar: 17
Ghost Tracker: 11
Serpent Tail: 11
Lion Head: 9
Paladin: 4
Bellator/Aparix: 1

The goat head is the first to react to the approaching foes - letting out a groan, it seems to cast a spell of some sort, for at that same moment a shimmering blue protective shield forms around the front half of the Chimera.

Ghost Tracker lets out a loud shrill insectoid shriek at the chimera and carefully darts close enough to it to let it almost reach her before darting back, diverting its attention from the others.

Combat:

[-1] LEEEROOOY JEEEENKINSS! - Minor Utility [2/Battle]
You let out a taunting and idiotic shout. All enemies suffer a -5 penalty to damage on attacks that do not include you as a target until the end of your next turn.

[-3] Hide & Seek (Blast From The Past) - Standard Utility
You cease to exist and can take no actions until the start of your next turn. While you do not exist, you cannot affect any creature and no creature can see or affect you in any way. The snake tail lets out a long hiss at the hammering it recieved at Zakhar's hands. In response, the snake tail sweeps itself acosss the place where Zakhar was - a second ago.

The lion head is only slightly more successful in its effots, as it charges forth at Zakhar and swings a paw at him, the sweep going wide.

Combat Stuffz:
The Snake Tail is now bloodied. The Snake Tail did no damage and the Lion Head did 2 damage to Zakhar. *grumbles about lousy rolls*

Anyway, Paladin's up!

Noticing how the serpant's head was badly damaged once he reached the fray, Paladin quickly moved forwards. First he slashed at the serpent, then moved and quickly slashed at the goat's head. Unfortunately, due to his lateness to the battle, the human was hasty, and the wounds inflicted shallow. Nonetheless, the weakening effect of his gift imbued in the attack was still there.

Turn:

Standing up, Aparix quickly looked over the battlefield, such as it was.

Well. This was a mess.

Spoiler:

Question: does each head and the tail count as a separate creature as well as a separate target, or is this whole chimera one creature in terms of mechanics?

Bellator darted forward, slicing at the serpent part of the beast, rolling as he landed, using the blood to make another mark on his axe...As he did, a miniature windstorm kicked up around it, making the blade and its weilder feel lighter already...! "Heh, heh...Keep your eye on me, freak...While you can, anyhow!"

[Ah, sorry, for some reason I thought someone else needed to post. >.<]

The serpent twitches from the new set of attacks rained down upon it. In the meantime, the goat head casts its spell once more, and this time the rear third of the Chimera is enveloped in a shield.

The blue screen over the serpent tail dilutes the blow slightly, but otherwise it's a solid hit. It's not enough to slow the coming rampage, however.

The serpent head lashes out at Zakhar, in fury over the damage caused to it, delivering a swift bite. The lion head, meanwhile, lunges forward at the nightchild with a mighty swipe of its paws.

Spoiler:
Zakhar takes 5 damage and 4 ongoing damage (save ends) from the serpent... and 16 damage from the lion head's strike.

Seeing the nightchild take such a beating, Paladin tried to gather his ki together in order pass it over to him using his Gift. Alas, the ki sent over was miminal due to Paladin's haste. Still, the ki should further his defences and protect him from further harm while the axe-wielding lunatic was also buffed in this way.

A whizzing of metal passed by the lion head's ear, causing a very shallow cut. "Hello, love," Aparix said, twirling the gun around his finger and firing again. This one also wasn't very accurate, but still pretty painful considering the thief was aiming for the center of the lion's head. "Want a kitty treat?"

Spoiler:
Used Ballistic Impact(First Standard Action) - the Lion Head takes 1 damage and is suffering vulnerability 1 (save ends).
Used Take Aim(Minor) - my next single-target attack does an extra 5 damage.
Used Heashot - the Lion Head takes 1+5+1=7 damage.
I'm rolling badly for some reason. :?

"So much blood...Let's make more of it yours, shall we, beast!?" Bellator dashed forward, almost impossibly fast, trying to pummel the beast with a series of blows...His frenzied pace meant only a handful actually did much, but he leapt away quickly and hopefully left the creature reeling...

Combat Data:

Gained extra 2 Resist
Took 2 ongoing (Resist blocked)
Regenerated 3 HP.

Actions chosen:

[+3] Blowback – Standard Utility
Flip a coin for each enemy. If you win that flip, that enemy is dazed (save ends). (calling 1 for all.)

The goat head lets out a somewhat pitiful bleat after the damage it's taken. Any pity one might have is erased, however, when it casts its next spell - a burst of lightning bolts rains down around Paladin, Bellator, and Aparix.

As the goat head reared back, preparing to baa, Aparix looked up. Upon seeing the slow buildup of electrical discharge around that goat's mouth, he thought for a moment and said: "Hmm. Lightning. Not in the mood to face divine judgement today, myself."

Drawing one of the stamps from his belt, and with greater speed than the lightning could fire, Aparix moved to a nearby piece of rubble, stood behind it, and pressed a rune directly onto that bricky boulder in golden ink.

The shard shot forward, directly into the chimera's front left leg, sending it kneeling to the ground.

Spoiler:
I used the interrupt command Stamp Act. For those who don't recall, that's an Immediate Interrupt that stuns the creature that would have dealt me damage until the end of its next turn.

Unfortunately, that's less than the usual full round, since each head counts as part of the same creature.

Fortuantely, that means that 9 damage we all would have taken has been nullified.

All three heads let out various groans of displeasure. Stunned, the snake half can do nothing but dangle idly. The lion half recovers quickly, however, and its wrath is far more terrible. It roars and then charges, bowling over all the members of the group save for Ghost Tracker... or rather, it tries to, mostly it just grazes its foes as it goes by.

Spoiler:
All party members save Ghost Tracker take... 2 damage.

Also, the collective chimera is no longer suffering from vuln 1, whatever that was from.

Bellator swore rather creatively as the venom hit his eyes, sending the Lokira stumbling about and spinning when the chimera grazed him. Well that was no good...He swung in a wild flurry, hitting...Well, something, it seemed like the monster...Probably. He couldn't see anything until he had a chance to clear his vision...
