Ancient jumps in fear of the shrieking, pulling out his journal. Instead of slinging spells from it, he was currently holding it close for a bit of comfort.

Ancient Record felt excruciating pain when the beasts attacked. As the world went dark, he felt a wave of cloud, water, and sorrow.

As his vision returned, Ancient Record found that he was on a beach somewhere. Above him was the early morning sky but to the sides was a wall of storm clouds in the distance. Suddenly, the sky filled with butterflies as a group of fierce looking pegasi mares surrounded him. Looking among themselves, a mare spoke up in great anger. "Who are you and what tainted sorcery brought you here?!?

Wait...Ancient Record? I remember now. I guess things didn't go well. I...I won't blame you if you don't want to go back."

Terra smiles before replying. "Yes by working together we stand a better chance of succeeding and surviving. There are two occurrences at the moment the still developing situation in Baltimare involving your rebels and one here in this castle, I had an... agent of mine to investigate the artifacts but he is no where to be found and now I fear for his situation... Also one more thing did you just hear a faint voice speak?"

"Now that I know what else is in there I'm more than willing to go back. If remnants of Tirek's forces are guarding the chest, it must be important. Now that I know they're in there, I'm sure I can get the drop on them." Ancient says, heading out again for the cave.

Shimmer Wishes looked around in curiosity. "No...should I?"

Returning to the cave once more, the beasts swooped in to attack. However, Ancient Record seemed better prepared for the assault. Three landed mighty blows while the fourth was poised and ready.

Sky Wolf frowned as he began to study Tipsy Tulip greatly, the way the pegasus mare had subsided at threat was worrying. Tipsy was their target, but there was a lot of dangerous fighters in the room, the mare most likely knew how to use her wing-weapons as well, yet she subsided instantly at the threat. That meant Tipsy was most likely the most dangerous in the room. Even as he studying Tipsy Tulip he said quietly. “How many bits do we have?”

"That might getting the painting difficulty." Sky Wolf noted, reluctantly turning his gaze away from Tulip, confident that he would of gotten some measure of the pony and began to study the painting in more detail. Trying to find anything about it that might lower its worth and might have people withdraw their bids, making it easier for them to secure it. Through speaking out might be a risky thing to do considering the circumstances... and Sky Wolf was no art specialist either.

In too much pain to talk, Ancient sent a beam of energy at the second and fourth stratodon, mentally convincnf the two to attack each other. He started to slowly drag the chest out of the cave.

The guard then nodded to Tipsy Tulip once more. "tWo hUndred tEn!" One of the minotaurs held up three fingers while glaring at Diamond Dust. "tHree hUndred bIts! cAn i gEt tHree hUndred tEn?" The guard retorted with "Four hundred bits!" The unicorn gentlecolt motioned for the minotaur to halt. "iNteresting. aNypony wIlling tO bId fOur hUndred tEn bIts?"

Sky Wolf's OOC:

"I wonder if there's any rhyme or reason to who can or can't hear me. Regardless, what do you have planned outside of vague agreements of unity?"

"The frame is damaged, bottom left." Sky Wolf spoke quietly and urgently to the group, hoping they would be able to use this information before the bid was finalized and most of the coin gone. "Unless I'm mistaken, damaged goods significantly reduce their price, no matter how small it may seem. If the unicorn agrees, we could get it at a cheaper price."

Diamond Dust nodded absently. He was sure whatever Sky Wolf was saying was right. At the moment, Dust was more curious about the group that was bidding against them. The bodyguards didn't seem to like him for one thing. Dust took the time to examine them more closely, before trying to give them a "Don't mess with me" stare.

The guard nodded and then spoke, "No disrespect meant Ms Tulip but there's damage on the frame. I'm sure this fine gentlecolt would agree that such a thing would affect the price." The unicorn chuckled and spoke up with a surprisingly bass voice, "Such a thing would be an issue if it was sprung on us. However, this painting was put on display with enough time for us to inspect it and come to our own decisions. You aren't trying to back out now that you have a high bid, are you?" He then briefly flashed a coy grin. "hE hAs a pOint. bUt tO sHow tHat i lIke mY cLientele, i'Ll tHrow iN a fRee bUndle oF dYnamite. gOing oNce. tWice... SoLD! wOuld yOu lIke tO gEt tHis nOw oR lAter?"

"Damn." Sky Wolf said quietly when the bet wasn't dropped, before mentally shrugging to himself. Upon asking if they wanted the painting now or later... and the dynamite, the pegasus whispered. "I vote for now. Get the painting out of here and secured... and the dynamite as well. Less explosives in their hands, the better."

Diamond Dust nodded. What Sky said made sense, plus it was probably a good idea to get the painting secured while the auction was still going. Dust didn't like the way the Minotaur guards were glaring at him, a bit like they were ready to fight over it later.

Dragging the chest farther out of the cave, Ancient mentally convinces two of the Stratodons to attack each other.

As two of the stratodons are locked in aerial combat, the other two swoop in to attack. As they deal their blows, they take to the air in preparation for another pass.

Ancient Record's OOC:

"We'll collect now." The guard said. The second guard and Silver Night took the painting and dynamite back to the meeting place while the first guard, Diamond Dust, and Sky Wolf remained at the auction. Tipsy Tulip stumbles about as she addresses the crowd. "sOme oF yOu sEem mOre aNxious tHan oThers sO i'M gOing tO dO tHe fInal pArt oF tHis dEal nExt. i'D sUggest yOu aLl hOld oNto yOur cHairs oR tAbles." As she promptly sits down, a subtle hum is heard in the room. Suddenly, the room falls about two feet.

Then, it leaps.

As a shattering of wood is heard all around, the room seems to land and then it starts ambling along as if it were walking. "tEe hEe, tHat oLd bUilding wAs a wReck. jUst bEcause i dOn't pAy tAxes dOesn't mEan i dOn't dO wHat i cAn fOr tHe cIty. wItness aNd mArvel tHe fInest oF mOdern eNgineering! tHis wOnderful cReation iS sTronger tHan tEn, nO, a hUndred hOrses! i'Ve aLready sOld tWo aNd tHis oNe iS mIne bUt yOu fIne eNtrepreneurs gEt tHe cHance oF bIdding oN aNother i'Ve hAd bUilt pLus tHe nExt iN pRoduction. fEel fRee tO aSk aWay bEfore tHe bIdding sTarts." The two minotaurs looked around the room in nervous fear while the bladed wing pegasus had a look of profound glee that a young filly might have on her face on her birthday.

And here Diamond Dust was worried the auction was going to be boring. There was no way they were going to be able to buy something like this, though, so Diamond Dust decided to just sit back and watch what everypony else had to say.

As the other two stratodons become locked in battle, Ancient Record could hear the echo of thunder from outside the cave. Meanwhile, the first two stratodons collapse from fatal wounds.

With a mighty heave, Ancient brought the chest out of the cave, deciding not to bother with the stratodons anymore.

As Ancient Record drug the chest outside, Ancient Record heard several roars from within the cave. Several stratodons swooped out, only to dissolve in the sunlight. Suddenly, the storm walls collapsed inward and he felt a wave of cloud and water.

Ancient Record awoke to somepony gently nudging him. It was Star Catcher and Dizzy Downburst. The sky was filled with butterflies as a group of pegasi looked on. "Ancient Record, are you okay? You look like you've been out of it for hours. I don't know what happened but something happened."

Sky Wolf frowned at the earth pony’s comment, and jolted as the room seemed to move. His wings and body spreading out in alarm and to keep his balance at the sudden movement of the room. Heart-racing, the pegasus took a few deep breaths to steady himself as he listened to Tulip talking. “We should of kept the dynamite, shouldn’t we?” Sky Wolf said quietly as he stood up straight, drawing his wings back in.

“Can you ask if we can go outside for a visual inspection? We can’t exactly see what is moving the room from inside of it that well...” Another thing that the pegasus was worried about, was that they were being separated from any back-up, with the room moving as it was, they would have no guards to back them up... currently. Depending on how quickly the room moved.
