Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
I don't know why. Just he flakes on going on the forum really from what I understand... Kinda highly ironic for a guy who's playing the "loyalty".
Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
I guessI should ask if you want to continue too. Hate to nag, but you still haven't posted your combat.

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
I do want to stay... Just keep derping on doing the thing with most if not all campaigns I'm in.
Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
Okay, I contacted sunbeam and crystalite. Crystalite say'd he/she isn't really interested any more. I have ways of dealing with it, but does this change how anyone else is interested?

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
I'm still interested. It's a shame to lose someone, but as I say, I think it's workable and you mentioned having a plan.
(Besides... Not all stories are successes. It builds the mystique of Discords game.)

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
Okay, now that I've contacted everyone except colter ( who I'm pretty sure isn't coming back), time for another question: should we continue the combat, or should I shake things up and take things in a different direction?

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
Personally, I'd love to have my badass moment, but that's me being selfish, and it probably won't actually end combat.

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
Honestly, after the wait, I'm veeeeery curious to see what sunflower mode is; Midas getting his badass moment of bad assist badassery is a bonus.
(Though I admit I'm not looking forward to getting tied up in combat, I'm kind of curious as to how THIS combat will turn out; after all, Midas is being badass, Compass is being crippled and Sunlit is being a robot. I want to see what happens next.)

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
Okay! (claps hands) Things have been settled;decisions have been made!
Skitter and Steel will be moved out of the way (not dead)
Marked Question has been moved and is doing not-combat things.
Which makes it... Compass's turn!

Doesn't that make it Sunlit's turn?

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
You made a move that deals 18+12+9=39 damage each time a healing move is used? That is downright wicked. I'm impressed.
Yeah, bunny the two of them, and I'd suggest Marked too, since I'm dead. Win the fight, then try not to tear each other apart for an hour, and the problem of my robotification will have solved itself.

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
No, that's all three reacts. Each one is different. So Sunlit is unconscious, but not quite dead. You might say he's mostly dead.

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
Finally! Couldn't post for some reason...
Anyway... I'd be fine with you controlling them, if their players are.
(Re... I'm guessing I should let "Steel" react before I post combat though?)

Ohhhhh, the which's antecedent is vuln, not damage. Alright.
Well, the good news is that we're playing with the fatal damage system, so I don't lose any energy.

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
Well, the reason I'd be controlling them would be that Crystalite backed out, and Colter has vanished, and all I would be doing is battle stuff (I have a plan for them after the battle) so I'm going to go ahead and bunny them for now.I'll be ready for you to post soon, Cav

I'ts fine, I understand. I haven't found the forum slow, but for a bit there was a huge picture at the top of the page in the place of the logo.

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
Er... I don't suppose there's anyway to skip the healing part of divine boon is there?
Oh well. Posted, with all the updated bits and pieces...
And I find it darkly hilarious that I have a move which would be perfect for the situation (It is not this day) but don't have the pips to play it. Assuming we live that long, want me to revive you with it Funbeam?
I ask because... Well, the death was dramatic, and rule of drama and all...
(Which is also why I didn't just heal you; if you would prefer Fivine a Boon on you rather than Skitter (and healing works that way) then by all means, take it! I'll edit my post for that change later.)
...and also? Compass is such a drama queen.
I'm going for a bard, storyteller type drama, but still... Save the monologues for when you aren't in deathly danger, eh?

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
Nope, sorry.
I'd prefer you rolled the d8, for the boost and heal, like now. It matters for the reactions.
Also you can heal him to positive health, and heal be able to attack, but the fatal damage stays.

Re: Discordian Promise (OOC)
It is not this day sounds great. I happened to notice that given what I know about this phase of the battle, I have the perfect moveset...
Also, don't worry about the heal reaction, it'll only do 6 damage to you. Well, +4 vuln. But still not that bad.
