Re: The League [OOC]
I totally agree that the tanking options are more limited, arguably to the point of ineffectiveness (My other tank ended the last fight with 110 hp, our healer was KO'd once. Such shame.), but they are also more fun. I was never, EVER, interested in playing the tank in PT, and here I've already made two. It's probably a personal preference, but tanking in WL clicks for me.

Re: The League [OOC]
I'll have to find the thread but it was noted in discussion a while back that there's multiple different styles of tanking. WL is very good to punishment tanks but terrible for redirection based tanks.
As far as Scratch, I have ideas of how to handle things both for his possible return and if he's permanently away. At least on the story end of things.

Re: The League [OOC]
It looks like she wasn't. With this being the first battle and this being a new player, I'm willing to retroactively apply it. Just need to see which character it will be applied to.

Oh, right, I forgot I had that. I've been focusing on Wall so, uh... I guess I'll throw it on Hammer. Split things up a bit.

Re: The League [OOC]
Hammer is KOed. Iron Maiden gains 5 Adrenaline. Due to the initiative tie, I'm allowing Yuri to react first before Wall and Staticaster's reaction.

In what capacity? Not denying it, just making sure we're on the same page of expected support. Also noting that the transport is still cloaked.

Re: The League [OOC]
Well I don't know what kind of capabilities it has, but if there aren't weapons on it then Phoenix would have made some very indignant huffs to the bosses at some point previously.
No idea how big the hovercraft is, but I'd hope the transport jet is either big enough to ram it*, or just armed enough to do some damage (if the hovercraft was manned, then I'd say just enough to distract it). Air Superiority should always be sought after. In any case, though, realistically speaking Phoenix can't really do much against it from where he is and with what he has, so I was hoping the jet had something to help with that.
*Nudge it carefully. If the jet can hover than it can move slow enough to push something smaller than it around safely, and push it into something. Alternatively, land on it.

Hmm. Yeah, I misread Zamuel's post; I thought they got outside the bank. I'll edit accordingly.sunbeam wrote:Er, PonyFarce, we're still in the room.

Re: The League [OOC]
I mostly have a good idea of what I want to do but I'm trying to mentally frame it right so that I have the proper words when I describe it.

so, do we need to roll a check to catch up with them, or can we interrupt their escape again?

Is the safety deposit box still completely intact, or is it opennable?
Also, there's no need for name-calling. This is the one time I'm NOT playing a janitor.

No need to roll for the chase just yet. They're in the hallway now but neither fast enough nor far enough away to be difficult for you to keep up with.

It looks like it was forcefully opened then resealed so it may take a bit of elbow grease to open again.

I that outfit you'll have a hard time arguing that with some characters

Re: The League [OOC]
And just to be clear, this cube is kind of equivalent to being dragged in a sack, right? It's not like I can step out of it or something, and I'm getting pulled along with them.
...Also, the weakness 20 doesn't affect my actions inside the box, right? It's not like the cube is actively fatiguing me.

A sack hovering in the air but yes.

Correct. In theory that's probably how I should have handled the one placed on Ash but I'll remember it for another time.

Can I jump back into the fight now that the hostages are out of the way? Also, does Wall still have his armor cube?

Re: The League [OOC]
Can I find out the results of a check to open the box (potentially including what's inside it) before posting? I want to be able to react to my own action before someone attacks me for it.
If not I'll just toss this roll into the IC thread.

Yay more questions! Is it my turn, or is my combat sequence postponed/suspended/over?

Re: The League [OOC]
The safe deposit box did not open at this attempt.
You may still attack if you so choose since it's not fully out of the way yet.
Wall no longer has his cube. Many but not all of the hostages would be out yet. Time is fuzzy but at least some would need to pass. Technically, turns are roughly 6 seconds but that's not an exact measure. Start of next turn is likely but to ask, who would Ash likely free first?

Re: The League [OOC]
She'd probably just grab the closest people first and make her way down the line, but if somebody looks like a real banker-type banker and/or demands they be released first because they're important and powerful she might skip over them out of spite.ZamuelNow wrote:

I guess this is my turn would be, though I'm not really taking part in the combat right now. Should I make some kind of "Ash keeps helping the hostages" post or can we just keep going?
