"Oh, COME ON!" Pumpkin complains at the universe as, by dumb luck, the dragon just happens to wobble the right directions to miss the attacks. "If you won't give peace a chance, at least STAND STILL!" she yells at the dragon as she lands next to the minotaur.
"Sorry about that. That dog got past me." With a rueful cringe, she hovers next to Atlas. The poor minotaur's starting to look a bit beat up. No wonder considering all of them are fighting a solar flaring dragon.
"Here, drink this. It'll help keep you going until I can look you over," she says, hoofing over another small thermos. She tosses another Cherry's way. Risttrotto, strong, with Pumpkin's own special blend of healing herbs. And, of course, an extra spike of caffeine.

Sliver finally recovers in the air, and turns on the ponies. "That's enough of that!" He lets out a wailing roar, and spits a blast of dark red fire at the nearest group of enemies, washing them in intense heat. He then Swoops upward and around, targeting the bug in the jar with a powerful swat of his tail.
Dog 3 goes back after Atlas again, this time trying to cut his hooves out from under him.

"First the dogs, then this dragon, are starting to peeve me!" Cherry said as she adjusted her crossbow - but this time she was not reloading, but seemingly... packing it up? She was obviously still intending to fight, given that as she worked, another cable launched towards the dragon, channeling electricity between the two. "This is going on too long!" She pressed one final switch, and then quite a few things happened with her weapon and rig in short order.
Cherry hopped down from her position at the front of the wagon, and detached the generator from her back. It landed beside her with a thud, still running, and then Cherry rammed the front of her crossbow into a latch on the front end, the arms of the crossbow folding away. The generator's hum grew in intensity, as the device itself began to spin on the bow-turned-haft.
"I didn't expect to have to use this," Cherry said, grinning. Rearing up on two legs, the hammer slammed into the ground behind her as its weight settled. Cherry angled the hilt of the generator-hammer towards the most injured of the dogs - and a burst of electricity arced between the two with an audible crack. Various lights on the generator began glowing, but Cherry slammed a hoof against a button on her rig, and the lights faded - though another jolt of electricity still zapped the third dog.
"You're very lucky," Cherry declared with a snicker. "My devices are fully charged and eager for action!"

Atlas grunts as the dog comes at him, and though the psychic barriers set up by Peony and the buzz from Pumpkin's coffee keeps him going physically, mentally he can feel his annoyance climb. Usually he's up for a good tussle like any minotaur, but these dogs hide underground like cowards, and the dragon cheats by having wings.
His temper flares, and he feels a surge of new strength reach his limbs as he lets his anger take over momentarily, before wrestling back control and facing the dog and dragon, reinvigorated. "Man, that brew is strong stuff..." He mutters, glancing at the empty thermos.

"I guess I shouldn't hold back either, huh?" Atlas cracks his knuckles, and suddenly he lets loose a loud, primal howl, allowing more of his minotaur heritage to take hold. Instinct replaces reason, and he bares his teeth, lowering his head, ready to charge, his heartbeat pounding loud in his ears.
But first, he has to get rid of an annoyance.
"Outta my way." He growls, derisively backhanding the dog jabbing at him with the spear, the seemingly casual motion packing an incredible punch after unleashing his full fury.

Pumpkin Spice jumps around, bucking wildly like an amateur rodeo pony while the fire that caught in her mane happily burns. It takes a few seconds beore she remembers to drop to the ground and roll around on her back. She finally snuffs it out.
And, another cup of coffee to calm the nerves. She gets back to her hooves, looking more than a little peeved at the dragon, then gallops after the wake left by the minotaur backing him up while he readies himself for another reckless (if highly effective) charge.

As the world stops turning, Chassis looks around at the battlefield. As far as she can see, the dogs were all down, leaving only the dragon to contend with.
The headache from that Hyperbeam, though. The shot of joe from Pumpkin eased it somewhat, but Chassis isn't too crazy about spamming MADCAT blasts and Hyperbeams trying to hit the overgrown lizard.
So she changes up her tactics.

Sliver seems a bit overwhelmed by all of the opponents, but picks the biggest target and swoops in for another attack. He comes low and grabs Atlas by the horns, lifting him into the air (barely, the young dragon is nearly not strong enough to carry the minotaur) and throwing him into one of the collapsed pits. In the pit, Atlas lands hard on his back, next to one of the dogs- who summarily plays dead at the sight of him, shortly before Sliver breathes another blast of heat at him
Atlas takes 16 damage total (5+4+3+4), Cherry's turn.

Cherry, after a short bit of hesitation to size up the dragon, causes another fierce arc of electricity to fly between her hammer and her target - in this case, the troublesome dragon. Cherry grinned as her generator built up power in such an effective fashion...

"Hmph." Atlas almost seems to shrug off his injuries as he rises from the ground, still steaming from the dragon's attack. Hunching over, he forsakes any sort of finesse as he gives an angry roar and charges forward in a good ol' Bullrush, horns angled down to try and tackle the young dragon.

"We have a dragon smiter?! Couldn't we have used that FIRST?!" Pumpkin calls as she charges at the dragon behind Atlas. It's a good thing they have a giant muscle-bound angry minotaur, because if they didn't-

Chassis opened her mouth to quip back in answer to Pumpkin, but only to find the latter mare preoccupied with her suicidal charge at the dragon. With a shrug, Chassis turns back to her IBOTI device, opens it, and produces an assortment of devices. Six pipes bundled into a cylinder shape, a box-shaped motor, and a tripod. Tools emerge from Chassis' pockets and set to work assembling the components.

Atlas, in his rush, manages to scale the side of the pit, and using that momentum, launches into the air at just the right moment, slamming into Sliver and dropping him to the ground, making him an easy target for the subsequent attacks. He manages to get to his feet, woozy, and is about to take another shot with his breath... and then turns and flaps into the air instead. "Keep your stupid wagon! When I come back we're gonna get you back!" He threatens, as intimidating as one can be while running away.
Atlas' last attack bloodied him, removing his Flying Trait, all other attacks were successful putting him VERY close to a KO- he won't survive another turn. Sliver uses his Action to try and flee.
Cherry's turn is up, she can pursue and try to finish him off, or let him go.

Cherry braced herself, her generator now letting out a shrill, yet almost undetectable whine as electricity crackled around it. Just before launching herself forward, she said only one thing:
"Good luck."
She charged forward on three legs, the fourth keeping her generator hammer slung across her back. When she reached her maximum speed, a spring in the generator launched it up and forward - and down onto the ground. The force of the impact and the leverage of the handle launched both pony and hammer upwards, arcing towards the escaping dragon. Cherry then extended a hoof, firing a grappling hook over the dragon, to latch on and pull her the last distance - upon which she swung her hammer, the charged electricity almost literally exploding out onto the dragon. Cherry then retracted the hook - but attached a jumper cable - and leaped off, reverting her suit and weapon to its usual launcher mode, activating a current between her and the dragon before firing a series of snap shots as she fell, before landing roughly - but harmlessly - on the ground, the springs and devices in her suit cushioning her landing.

The dragon, speeding away as he is, doesn't notice his pursuer until the grappling hook yanks him back. Sliver has just enough time to turn and see Cherry's weapon careening at him, before it crashes down on his head and sends him directly into the road- and then down another pit. As she lands, Cherry sees that the sound hit knocked him clean into the ground beneath, burying him headfirst to his waist, tail and legs sticking out limply.
Slivergets bodied like a scrub is Knocked Out. Combat Over.
All told, three dogs lay dazed and battered on the road, and Sliver is KO'd deep in the ground. The dog that played dead in the pit seizes the opportunity to book it, burrowing down and away, closing the tunnel behind him. The wagons are completely unharmed, as are the caravaneers, who cheer at the victory.
There is enough room in the decoy wagon to take a single dog- or two can be crammed in with some finesse. The stocked supply wagon is full, but could carry something strapped to the roof....

Chassis looks up from her project just in time to see the dragon falling headfirst into the pit. By then, she'd already gotten her "Dragon Smiter" assembled; a rotating minigun with a cable running from the gearbox to a metal ring on the end, sized just big enough to slip over Chassis's horn to supply power to the mechanism.
With a sigh of relief, Chassis flicks the cable away. Then she glances around at the dogs on the ground and turns the forcefield off.
"That turned out better than I expected. Now we gotta figure out how we're gonna pack these guys."

Peony and Helmaroc go up to one of the dogs, and Peony starts to tug on the dog by reaching out of the carry bottle and tugging on its ears.
Peony has dog now.
Helmaroc stifles a chuckle, which comes out as a strangled squawk.

Atlas slowly comes out of his anger-induced frenzy, shaking his head slightly and taking a few deep breaths. He immediately becomes aware of his many bruises, and winces, though he's had worse in his line of work. "Haven't... done that in a while. Owch. Alright - what have we got here? A dragon, few dogs..."
"Can we fit the dragon into the wagon? Or... on top of the wagon? I'm sure I can lift a dog or two. Maybe."
He goes and grabs a dog by the scruff, and experimentally tries to lift another by the scruff. He's lifted heavier, but the dogs are fluffy and soft and don't grip as well as iron weights.
