And then Sunset causes whatever problem is the focus of the season 4 premiere via trying to murder Twilight.

- Comic Con Vid preview:
- The vid is a storyboard animatic, split across four episodes, it seems.
- First clip is Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon vigorously mocking Scootaloo for her inability to fly, and how she'll "never get chosen" as a representative of Ponyville for some kind of games. Looks like they've upgraded on their psychological abuse.
- Second clip opens up with Spike in Maretropolis, disguised as a superhero, along with the Mane Six, who are apparentlyPony RangersPower Ponies! Then some kind of villain is revealed robbing a bank - a mixture of Ursula and Doctor Octopus (using her mane). Many squee's were had.
- Third clip is a (VERY catchy) song, sung by the Apple family and Pinkie Pie as they travel along the countryside in their cart. It's comparable to Smile Smile Smile in quality!
- Fourth clip is Twilight Sparkle, confused, as she suddenly confronts Luna, who pretty much snaps, is engulfed in evil stuff, and turns into Nightmare Moon. I think this is a flashback of some sort.

NMM returns, I've heard theories that its a dream, or time travel. I personally hope its neither. Also, Scootaloo is CONFIRMED old enough to fly, CONFIRMED that she should be able to, but can't- which means some headcanons are taking damage early. Episode should come with some feels.
Power Rangers. Or super heroes. Best Episode.

Have a pair of more best worst commentaries!
Now, the latest episode gave us quite a bit of worldbuilding:
1) Aztec/Inca/Mayan ponies are a thing.
2) Daring Do being a real thing (meaning many ponies died horribly across many books).
3) Pinkie Pie defaced half the continent and has infinite amounts of red paint.
4) A new "Region" of Equestria - the "Valley" the events take place within. Along with it, an unmarked "map" of Equestria as they travel through it.
5) A bunch of "canon" events and places and things related to the books. Among them, Quetzalcóatl, which implies the existence of "feathered serpents".
6) The book characters are apparently either far away enough to not know what goes on with A.K. Yearling's publishing career, or are too oblivious to realize it, or simply ignoring it. Either way, she's dodging quite a few copyright issues and potential ways of having her enemies abuse her writing what is essentially an autobiography.

- Fun fact: That dragon statue was actually visible in the previous episode, during the flashback (the sisters fly past it in a few frames).

- That frame doesn't make any geometrical sense. And how did she know Rainbow went that way?

- Years of therapy, lost to one shadow.

- Also if she can do that, the implications are rather worrying.

- SUDDENLY, THE EPIC PLOT TWIST NOPONY EXPECTED IS ABOUT TO BE REVEALED
- Also shame Pinkie Pie isn't here.
- OH SNAP!
- She knows how to grind that organ.
- Dat... bellring.
- Dammit Pinkie I don't want to read the transcripts every time you say something.
- The cupcakes party, of course! Much less witnesses here!".
- That is a very specific trap for a very specific creature to affect.
- Strangely enough, this might actually be a thing that happens for Pinkie Pie.
- Moral of the story: In a land of magic and legitimate horrors that defy logic and reason, being one of them is a good way to avoid being a wuss.
- And then future generations would be maddened in their attempts to discern Pinkie Pie's entries.
- "Dear diary: I enjoy tempting fate."
- NOPONY EXPECTS THE - Oh bugger!
- Daring Don't:
