Schlock Mercenary: Races
The Schlockiverse is home to a HUGE variety of races. Work on building them is getting done here.
Notes:
A) I feel perfectly justified in not including the trait descriptions. Get over it.
B) I am using 6 points of racials, plus a free Expert Skill, for your reference. For some of these guys it won't be nearly enough, but oh well.

Artificial Intelligence
Exactly what it says on the tin.
This'll be an interesting design path, because in the Schlockiverse AIs come in just about as many varieties as individuals; moreover, it is quite common for an AI to change chassis, effectively gaining a whole new set of capabilities. It may be simpler to leave this option open for players who want to pick-and-chose racial traits, as opposed to just grabbing a race and moving on.

Carbosilicate Amorph
Or just "Amorphs", these guys are essentially a big blob of... stuff. They are exceptionally resilient, though heat and cold are two serious dangers. They also have have exceptionally sharp senses and memory.
They may need some help though; what I currently have isn't all that comparable.

These guys are visually a bit hard to describe, so I'll let the link do that.
In terms of capability, they are quite agile, and implied to be a tad bit smarter/tougher than the rest of us. They also have quite a bit of political influence; Sweet And Elite, one might say...

A cycloptic race with a single eye about the size of a volleyball. More details on the link... These guys are all about Perception; very little, whether physical or insightful, escapes their notice.

Ohh, me like.
This requires a plasma cannon upgrade to the Items Doc!
Thing about amorphs though: most of schlock's adaptability comes from his ability to change shape, not so much a wide variety of skills (i.e. the adaptable trait.)
Have you thought of using a slightly modified Thousand Faces? I've been getting a lot of mileage out of it with Vinnie in the A World, A Part campaign.
If you get rid of the disguise aspect (i.e, coloration) and use it for changing shape only, I think it approaches Schlock's skills nicely
