Pony Tales Minecraft Server

Recently, me and a few others were talking about minecraft in the Old King's News skype chat, and we got on the subject of maybe starting a Pony Tales server.
Besides it being just fun to play minecraft with one another, it seems like a good place for people to meet, get to know each other and/or get a gaming group started.
I've been playing Minecraft on and off since the alpha, and I've played on a bunch of servers, but I've never actually run one before, aside from the usual 1/5 player ones.
I guess now is as good a time as any, if people are interested.
So, my question is:


Who would be up for a Pony Tales Minecraft server?
I'll need some numbers to see whether it would be worth it to put in the money for a small server host.

Just clarifying, would this be for Minecraft or for a more board-like experience? (Technically I guess it could be both with the sections just split.)
I'd be down for either, though I don't want to force someone to pay per month when there are other free multiplayer games.

Would you be utilizing the Mine Little Pony mod in this hypothetical server potentially?

here's more or less what I was thinking:

We just create a server where anyone who is interested can play around, we could just putz around all we want, or make pixel art of characters or other pony tales-related stuff, whatever people feel like.
I'd prefer to create a different area for each, not sure how practical that is. I hadn't planned to do anything like roleplaying on-server, but I suppose we could set something up if people are interested.
Then we set up a skype/teamspeak/whatever conversation where we can gab around if we so wish, or just chat in MC itself (that tends to get crowded rather quickly though).
So basically, mostly just Minecraft, but we can chat about PT related stuff, maybe swap some game ideas etc.

As for paying:
I don't expect there to be more than sayy 10-20 people interested, given the size of the forums. From a quick glance at the offers on the MC forums, that would cost around 5-10$ a month for a server. I would either pay that out of my own pocket, or split it between me and whatever volunteers there may be.

Mine Little Pony is not a server-side mod: last time I was on a server, anyone who wanted to could install it no problem.
You just install it on your side, it works everywhere. I still have it on.
Admittedly, this was before the last update. Doubt it changed much though.

I am not too interested myself, but I will ask if you are planning to make this server a creative one, a survival one, or a mix of the two with the help of command blocks?

No idea yet: I was going to decide that later, based on what people prefer.
it might be possible to do both, haven't looked into that yet
