"Speak'a the devil," Wrangler comments as the dragonling stirs, sitting up from his slouched position on the bed. "Yeh, boss probably won't be too happy we're tangled up with another guild, but we picked up a couple artifacts we weren' here for in the firs' place, so I'm betting it's alright." He nods toward the goggles before animatedly taking a sniff. He frowns and says, "You should probably get yer bath now though."

Busker quickly uses one Farnsworth's bugs to listen in on Stone, before reconvening with his team.
"Stone and his son are about to chat it up with their neighbor next door, either to borrow a few sugarcubes, or to call the guards and/or neighborhood watch on our flanks. Best to hurry whilst we still can. Oh, and I think we're looking for some kind of old artifact fabric: bedding, quilt, tablecloth, whatnot. Noticed something like that 'misplaced' from their attic, about this big, folded.", Busker demonstrates, drawing a shape in the air with his hooves. "It was probably dormant till they pulled it out from there."

Ventriloquism:

Trotson walks over to Farnsworth. "All in all it does seem to be a minor blessing in disguise though it may be possible that is group may seek vengeance, must remember to actually find out who they are. Now could the bath wait just a tad, I wish to check that you do not have any lasting injury."

At the House

Busker can just hear the conversation...

"Well sure, you can hang out here for a bit," a feminine voice says. "All things considered. There's really someone in your house!?"

The colt speaks up. "A bunch of someones! I told them nobody was home like Dad said and they came in anyways!"

"I didn't tell you like that, Quickick!" Stonehead says with a slightly admonishing tone.

"My my! Well, they should be here any minute now to handle the problem. Thank goodness for my 5 Alarm spell. Come on inside..."

At The Sunset

Farnsworth is visibly disgusted at the thought of not bathing. Considering the significant amount of filth he's covered in, it's not surprising. "I'm fine!" he snaps out. "I've been hit with worse just earlier today. And ask Sudsy about the Dodgeball Incident sometime," he says as he heads for the bathtub...

Wrangler lays back on the bed and waits for his form to return, passing the time by looking at his hoof-paws. He idly asks Trotson, "So. What'd ya figure out about the vials?"

"One is a normal if weak poison the other is Discord's Eye Juice a powerful hallucinogen illegal but not that difficult to produce. Though they do raise a few questions."

Jade nods at Busker's assessment.

"That's what I would've guessed, blankets being one of the ways that the disease was spread back then. Seems likely that's what we're looking for. Question is where it's ended up now- did they donate it to charity? Give it away to a friend? Take it out for a picinic and left it somewhere? I don't think we'll find it here: if it's our Artifact it's out somewhere making ponies sick. Let's get out of here before the authorities arrive."

Jade was tense, about ready to bolt even if nopony else did (particularly considering she might need more time than the others to escape anyways, given how much quicker they got inside the building, Busker being as skilled as he was and Wraith being... Wraith.

The wooden pony nods his head slightly, and says, "Sounds li' standard fare fer established thieves. Th' lack'a lockpicks 's a bit off, but enh. Magic." He rolls his eyes, before rising from the bed to stretch and check if his form has returned enough that he could pass for a pony. "I'll get th' guards I s'pose; Ah've already run into them once, least. If y' can keep an eye on our friends?"
