"Engines are down? Y-Yeah, need to be prepared for the worst, then...Nnngh. What a mess, huh? Still, yeah...What's the plan? I figure they're right...Unless you have a better idea, we need to get ready to bail out...Is that even a valid plan?" Dusty looked around, worried. He...Wasn't familiar enough with all this kind of stuff to really know what the precise fallout would be, but it wasn't going to be pretty. "Uhm...Can anyone here fix the engines, maybe?"

The fact that the engines were down was news to Link, but as he glanced around and listened the silence they had left behind was almost deafening.

Now he wasn't an engineer and he could admit that he didn't know the full extent of the damage that ship crashing would cause but Link was going to guess that there was going to be a huge mess and explosions.

As the security team went out and did their duty to start the possible evacuation of the ship, Link considered the possible motives of the hostile infiltrators and how they might connect to shutting down the ships engines. The possibility existed that they were zealously crazy and wanted to kill everyone on board was an option but for the time being there wasn't enough evidence to suggest that this was their outright goal. In fact, the evidence so far suggested that they were taking care to avoid instantly blowing up the ship or venting the air but if ways off the ship started getting sabotaged then he would change his mind on the matter but currently shutting down the engines seemed to be little more then a masterful distraction; The kind that can't be ignored.

"An educated guess in tactics suggests that shutting the engines and some of the power systems down is little more then a diversion designed to create panic, confusion and chaos to work as a smoke-scene for their real operations. Since I have no idea what those objectives could possibly be, we're going to have to deal with the problems we can see and hope we're still here to deal with the other shoe dropping later. If anyone here confidently knows enough about engineering to get the ships engines back online speak up and we'll get going. Otherwise our mission is to be ready to evac safely off this flying death trap." Link announced confidently. Right now what their group needed was a clear list of objectives and some kind of stability just panicking wouldn't help anyone.
