Ultima easily gets to the wall and over it in almost no time, with Answer unknown on his side getting up quite a few seconds later. Ultima's partner, Marie, easily climbs over quickly while mouse is a tad bit behind the griffin in climbing, but almost unnoticable.

"LOOKS LIKE IT'S NECK AND NECK AND NECK AND NECK, FOLKS! NEXT UP IS THE CRAWL! IF THEY GO TO FAST, THEY MIGHT GET HURT FROM THE BARBED WIRES!"

Maria can quickly rush through the crawl, not getting hurt, however due to some lower barbs Answer and Ultima both take 1 hit point of damage.
Mouse, due to some carelessness, gets a larger cut, taking 4 damage. Speed wise, though, they seem to still be neck and neck, however Maria and Ultima are gaining a slight lead.

"WOW! That invisible griffin is quick! Next up is crashing through the wall! Or any way of making the hole. Let's see what these ponies and griffon can do!"

Upon hearing that they were to go through the wall Ultima skids to a halt and spends the focuses her magic into her horn after five seconds she shoots a ball of magic,that vaguely looks like a sheep, at the wall with tremendous force.

Scrabbling to retrieve her cloak, Maria watched in wonder at Ultima's spell, wondering what she herself ought to be doing if it fails...

Examining the wall from a respectful distance, she kept her eye open for bolts, rivets, gaps, any weaknesses she might exploit..

The Blue Unicorn looks at the wall. "Mmm... It says Create... What if that's a hint to what we should do?" He mostly said to himself. Next he used his magic to try and create a doorway out of said wall.

Moments after Answer makes a door in the wall, a loud CRASH resounds from the arena, and even the announcer is stunned in silence as the battering ram CRASHES through the wall, making it rubble. "t-a-wa..."

"On to the maze next... but seriously folks, t-this is the closest race we've ever had!"
"IT'S THE ONLY ONE!"
"Quiet you. ONTO THE MAZE."

The elephant stares, looking forward at the unicorn. It shrugs then goes forward, comedic-ally flattening the stallion (5 damage) as it crashes through the wall, barbed wire, and ladder wall.

The entire crowd is silent and then, all throughout the arena, a flat "Wat." resounds all across it at once.

Maria decided the best thing to do was make a running jump up onto the top of the walls. Hopefully she'd be able to see enough of the path to guide Ultima and try to make up for the time gained by the other team...

Answers starts to cry but not from the pain... Just he was so close to doing something pure awesome... But nope... He only ended up in a world of pain. AU can totally understand the Dark Magics of Laughter failing him... But he was able to work with that, even did awesome with making that thing become alive again... Then his new magical minion desided to run at him... The Unicorn felt totally ghipped at this turn of events. He slowly gets up and enters the maze. Today was officially the worst day in his life, so far...

Maria and Ultima can go along the path of the maze easily, but soon the maze becomes enclosed and heads down undergound, forcing the two to hop down or possibly be disqualified. They easily pass through the first portion of the underground maze and find a long hallway with two pits on either side, right before the pathway disappears and some sickly green goop appears in it's place.

Answer and Mouse take quite a bit longer to get through the first part of the maze, but eventually they can reach the same sort of path.

"It seems Maria and Ultima have about a minute lead on Answer and Mouse! But can the latter two pull ahead through the Acid room?"
