And the one guy's not dying anymore. I told you he'd be fine.

*sigh* If it weren't for the difficulty of this specific campaign, I'd suggest players just be skipped in these situations.

I'm sorry about this guys... Really... I don't fully understand why I let these things slip. Or I do know and I just deny myself that knowledge....
Re: An Abominable Antagonist (Accepting Advocates)
It's no big Xel, we all forget about campaigns from time to time.
It's Curunir's action, by the by.
Additionally, post-this battle, I'm thinking about starting a thread in the World Building forum that more aptly describes the universe, if you guys are into that.

Hell I'd not be against you starting that worldbuilding doc before the battle is done...
Re: An Abominable Antagonist (Accepting Advocates)
Potentially. I'll think about, and we'll see if I can get my ducks in a row in time. (Those darn ducks, running around in circles next to a single goose.)Xel Unknown wrote:Hell I'd not be against you starting that worldbuilding doc before the battle is done...
Additionally the next battle, A Beastly Brawl, has been completed and is approved for testing. Battles C-H are a little more troublesome though.

When you say worldbuilding stuff, is that just for us to go "oh look that's neat", or did you plan on putting it to actual use (like in some between battle RP)?

Re: An Abominable Antagonist (Accepting Advocates)
Bits of both. I'm not currently planning to drop plot hooks that aren't creatures (and are really more like plot rail stations than hooks,) but if you take some initiative between fights you can look into what's going on in the world and solve problems and do level 10 character stuff. Potentially you'd be able to get boons against future fights depending on what you're doing.Bronymous wrote:When you say worldbuilding stuff, is that just for us to go "oh look that's neat", or did you plan on putting it to actual use (like in some between battle RP)?

I mean, because if someone actually ends up dying, I can just... bring them back to life.

Dead Eye is suffering from Decay, and can't gain health. Pacifist can still trigger and net him the temp though.
Do you still want to bounce your heal off him?

I still have the Crescendo that deals damage. So much of my stuff is outdated.Quietkal wrote:Jeez, I guess this fight's been going for awhile; that's the old form of Whirling Blades. Guess we should wrap this up in the next round or so, eh?

Considering that's an interrupt, I still get the end of turn saving roll, right?

It's a reaction, and yes, an end of turn save throw at the -7 penalty. (you still get your bonus)ZamuelNow wrote:Considering that's an interrupt, I still get the end of turn saving roll, right?

Edited it in since I'm right before Mr Bones to preserve the initiative order.

Re: An Abominable Antagonist (Accepting Advocates)
As if I have been or would be doing anything important. I've done, what 100 damage total in 8 turns, maybe?
EDIT: And I'm dazed, too. Look out, big play coming up. Check that, I was already dazed. AND Blind. Woo.

Re: An Abominable Antagonist (Accepting Advocates)
@Bron, Where's the blind (save ends) from? Pretty sure that should just be "until end of Phoenix's turn," and ended on that turn you just took.
We're back around to Fury's action.

Oh, was it? I got it from one of Bones' reactions, I thought it was save ends. If not, I'll change it.

Re: An Abominable Antagonist (Accepting Advocates)
I may well have had save ends on there by accident. If I did, that's my fault.Bronymous wrote:Oh, was it? I got it from one of Bones' reactions, I thought it was save ends. If not, I'll change it.
It should have been "until the end of Phoenix's next turn."
