Offering Straight Silver for the roll of Non-elemental/Assistant.
Will need to modify combat build though.

Man, I need to write up a build or two in advance in case stuff pops up so I don't get beaten to the punch...

Hmm... As far as it goes, there are enough players to get going, now...
For a particularly interesting character, I could probably make a slot for Dusk OR Zamuel... but I think recruitment is mostly over.

Internet was acting up all day. Don't know the full ins and outs of the team so I built this sorta blind. Still need to finish up the combat build and add more flavoring. It was either this or a donkey detective but I had a more concrete personality for her so a pony it is. Keen Craft

Re: Wanderers of Weyard - OOC
Okay, Keen Craft just fits in TOO WELL. We've got our sixth! I'll start up the campaign soon I suppose...
Edit: I'd like to remind everypony who is in that you get a free flaw, and 2 points each for talent specialization and element specialization.

Yeah... I say this much... You forgot two of your enchantments and you forgot one of your combat talents.ZamuelNow wrote:Internet was acting up all day. Re: Wanderers of Weyard - OOC
The missing two enchantments was somewhat deliberate. I may try to figure out a proper way to reflavor some more but those really stood out as making sense for her. Actually getting a few ideas now so I'll be working on it off and on.

Re: Wanderers of Weyard - OOC
With the group gathered, I have a question...
How would each of you like to start? Would you...
A. Faff about in town?
B. Head off to the south?
C. Stay at the guild and chat with each other?
Also, please put down the combat items you would LIKE on your sheet, so I know how I'm handing them out.

Re: Wanderers of Weyard - OOC
I... guess I could switch to kindness, if you guys mind a magic dual.
doesn't really suit gusty though.
Edit: did some thinking, I COULD take laughter, but to make that really suitable could end up being a lot of work:
Gusty is going to be doing some.... experimental herb-lore. Laugher could trigger when she tries one (or a taste-tester "volunteer"), say a magic mushroom
that might exclude some external laughter effects though, and I might sayy... attempt to harvest interesting herbs.
If they have a kitchen, C, where gusty attempts to steal trade secrets. Cartographers have secret recipes, don't they?
Or she could be A: heading for the nearest restaurant, either to eat, gain entrance to the kitchens, or sift through the rejects (read: raid the dumpster) for research.

Re: Wanderers of Weyard - OOC
What about Honesty, Kaji? A cook tries for honest opinions on food, how else do they improve?
No, the guild does not have a kitchen; both A. and B. will gain access to cooking implements fairly soon, however.

Re: Wanderers of Weyard - OOC
Dumb beginner question but what do you use here for rolls? Is it a specific online roller or is it off a trust system?

Re: Wanderers of Weyard - OOC
I dont think i've seen a way for pbp to be done without a trust system tbh.
rolz.org might work, but it doesn't save a lot of history, if any.
If you need a roll generator, here's the one I've been using: D20DB

Re: Wanderers of Weyard - OOC
It doesn't matter to me how you do it. I personally use physical dice for pbp... Theoretically I could make you prove your rolls by making you upload pictures... but not only is that tedious, anti-friendship, and even a little sickening, it still wouldn't do any good if you REALLY wanted to cheat.
...Just ignore that last bit, me criticizing some other PH. Yes, trust system and whatever dice app you feel like is fine.

And of course that die I rolled never does that well in the table top campaign I'm in. *grumble*

nope.ZamuelNow wrote:Do I add a +5 for nat 20 in this system?
Criticals here usually mean an automatic success, unless what you're trying is impossible.
Cutie Mark Criticals are a step above that, where you take a near-impossible success and make it look easy.
Usually. Depends on the DM.

Re: Wanderers of Weyard - OOC
For this campaign I actually am curious about pony diet. MLP has always had a junk food clause but FiM has shown them to be vegetarian instead of vegan since Rarity has directly fixed eggs.

Re: Wanderers of Weyard - OOC
Does anyone here have issues with Judo Throw? I ask since while splitting off enemies can be useful and it comes with decent damage, inability to hit an enemy can be bad if a teammate has a good combo for just killing the enemy off. Thinking of adjusting Keen some since it seems like a bit more disruption and/or debuffs would be her style.

Re: Wanderers of Weyard - OOC
Honestly... I've found Judo Throw to be not that great. It does alright damage. But the feeling of putting oh. A solo monster... Outside of battle... Just feels like it's prolonging the battle, just cause. Even with it's nerf to being -8... I think it needs to get reworked as a whole. The only positive factor of the move is the possibility of getting allies Outside of combat when it's really needed. But with it now being a -8 that's kinda a non-issue and only good for hitting a monster, and if it doesn't kill a monster, it can easily slow down combat with solo monsters.
