The Idle Cafe

So, today being the second day of school this year, and I, only having two classes a day for the next three weeks, decided to spend my idle hours in the library reading. My mother had told me that morning that I'd been reading too much fan fiction, though I would have ignored her had I not forgotten my kindle (and all the fan-fics I'm in the middle of) on my bed at home. I decided to look through the shelves for a book I'd been shown recently by a friend, and instead found, after trying and failing at finding various thoughts, the two-inch thick book which I then decided to check out: Complete Stories and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe.
Just a little light reading.

Ah, yes... I've got a copy of that book that was published in the early 1930s. Poe is one of my favorite authors, and "The Raven" is (in my opinion) the best poem of all time. Of all time.

Fun fact: Edgar Allen Poe is credited with inventing the "detective fiction" genre. His protagonist, C. Auguste Dupin, served as the inspiration for later fictional detectives such as Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot. The more you know...!
