To business, I don't have my computer yet, and have limited Internet time on my phone for now, so I'm not quite Rai to jump back into everything, but for now let's see if I can't catch up a bit, and work my way back into the games I've been missing.

Updates on games and the system (because I know they've happened), are appreciated.

Well racials and Utility Talents have been merged into one... With some few upgrades and a few nerfs to things all around. There is a changelog somewhere, but you'll have to look for that yourself in one of the Abilities threads (I think it's in the one that says it's officially out and junk Nevermind here it is.) But far as I am aware not many games have felt like moving to the new system... Nor have I seen any new games that want to use the new abilities system.

That combat update that has been in the works even before you had left... Still waiting on it to happen. No idea when it'll happen.

Good, I remember the abilities system coming up before I left and didn't like it. Good to know I at least have others that feel the same for once.

Eh, it seems less not liking the new system and more just too lazy to switch the old games over.   

I think it's half and half. While I know that in at least one of my campaigns, all of the players would get collectively stronger, I'm not going to just uproot everyone's build when they've been playing fine so far. The other issue is that it had point cost oddities and a fair bit of missing material. Abilities are in a better state than they were when originally revealed with a few lingering discussions about a few talents that haven't returned.
