I should probably finally say it, or rather admit it. I will be unable to post for an indefinite amount of time, though I will return eventually, I promise. It would be greatly appreciated if the DM's of any games I'm in could make my characters NPC's so that I'm not out in the middle of nowhere and have stuff to react to when I can post again. For those of you in my games(or rather game, as I really only have one running), understand that they are on hiatus, and not actually ending or anything like that. You will still be able to contact me and get my attention by sending me a PM, as I keep the forum open in a tab on my browser and get the PM pop-up when I open my internet if I have one, but other than Skype that will probably be the only way to reliably contact me. I hope I can return soon, but I'm pretty sure most of you remember the fall of your Senior year of high school...

This has been a long time coming now.

As most of you who play games with or under me have noticed, I've been slacking in my roleplaying duties as of late. It's not the first time this has happened; not by a longshot. But it's always been a temporary funk, some state of affairs in which I still diligently check on what's going on everywhere and only respond when I have to, going through all the rote steps and knowing that I'll come out the other end feeling refreshed and ready to roleplay again someday.

That isn't what's happening this time. This time, I feel a sense of dread, and find myself willfully ignoring the forums, and the horrid part is that I have no idea why. I don't know why this is happening, I don't know why I can't make myself keep going or why it feels so much worse than the other times I hit burnout.

I want to like roleplaying again. I love my characters, I love all of you and I want to see things through to their conclusion but it's just not happening for me right now. I may be premature; back two days from now and ready to role again. I may not be. It may be months or years before I feel like coming back. It may not happen. Whatever the case, though, I feel this needs to be made official.

Starting now, I am officially announcing a (possibly permanent) hiatus from roleplaying on these forums. I already miss you all. I'm sorry. Crying or Very sad

Well, I had some grand thing planned up to type, but then I read what APC had typed, and, well, that's pretty much it. I am recovering from those exact feelings. It crept up on me, and when I finally realized what happened, I couldn't even come back to say I had to go. I felt ashamed, and had been ignoring all the skype messages from other members trying to bring me back. Sorry guys. I know what I said last time, and how that worked out, But I will try again.

After many years of pain and misery, I have crawled my way out of the dark depths of the dreaded place known by many names over the years... Hell... Mandatory Life Interuption... but most commonly, school.

Yay! I'm finally back! I may be a little slow to post at first (still feeling a little burned out from school work, since I just finished the last of it only half an hour ago), but all my posting will return to normal at last, at least until the 2015 school year comes around. Some of my games may not be revived, and some new games may be started to replace them after being long-awaited, but until that all actually happens, nothing is for sure. It would be much appreciated if the DMs of games I'm in give me a quick overview of what I've missed so I can jump back in quickly (and not burn myself out all over again on backlog scouring) and be up to speed.

I was waiting to see what the Internet situation was like here while I'm on vacation before posting this, but it looks like in addition to only having access through my phone, I will also be quite busy for the next few days. I doubt I'll be able to get on here reliably until at least Sunday.
