Actually I wanted to join a game. I just don't know where to to to do that. I know a little about creating a character, but I don't think I did it right.

You might check out Equestrian Task Force. It already started, but is running particularly slow. We also have another brand new, completely hopelessly don't know what to do new player who's learning, so you two could get acclimated together- if the DM would be ok with it. Can't hurt to ask.
