MLP Comic series
Anyone else here a fan of any of IDWs MLP comics?
I picked up volume 2 (the Nightmare arc) shortly after seeing Luna Eclipsed; since then, an appropriate amount of wheedling, back logging and subscribing means I've filled out the library of the mane series.
If you couldn't tell from the avatar, I am very excited for Reflections.

Quality of them feels quite mixed. I'm pretty behind on them though.

The quality is pretty damn high, at least for almost all of Andy Price's stuff (other artists just don't quite compare) - the jokes / references / shout-outs are clever and abundant (yay for background details), and the art is very likeable.
Case in point, behold a preview from a new issue.

As I said, mixed quality. Cook, Price & Breckel's stuff tends to be really good but there's still stuff like Dash's solo issue and Friends Forever #1 that's bad...or at least misguided. And I tend to think the shoutouts are slightly overdone and not always as clever as they seem. That said, some wind up good and they actually do a sizable number of old school shoutouts.
