There's been various discussions about leveling and progression in this system.  This third party supplement aims to offer another option for leveling that should make things smoother overall.  As usual, questions, comments, critique, and suggestions welcome.

Looks good to me. The Front Loading Problem is something we're actively attempting to fix in the new system, in which you'll begin with just 1/4 of your eventual total non-combat power in abilities rather than 5/7.

This looks a lot better than the current status quo overall. I think the new system does an even better job of making non-combat abilities scale the same way that combat abilities do over multiple levels, as Philadelphus says (as you probably know already - because you have access to that document), but I'd say this is still much better than the current version in Pony Tales.

Sunbeam is to thank for actually suggesting that traits be shifted as well. As far as how frontloaded or backloaded things should be, I think that really fluctuates per setting/genre. I think this works just well enough for a MLP campaign.
