As soon as the door is open, Brittle levitates his piece of wire to elbow height and strings it across the door opening. Then he enchants it with Strengthen Substance, followed by Immovable.

Zebulon stares at the burnt circle. That could have left a mark, but now it kind of smells like burnt pinapples.

Cheese recalls that Reeds is a magiscientist/explorer who spends a lot of time traversing alternate dimensions with his wife Translucent, brother-in-law Torch, and best friend Rock Smash. Their many travels have mutated them into something more than pony. Cheese recalls that Doom and Reeds studied together, but fell out over... something, which was followed by Doom's expulsion from the Star Swirl Magical College.

Cheese can see Doom's general location and a bed. Doom appears to be magical, but it appears to be beyond Cheese's ability to analyze from here.

"Reeds DARED to question Doom's genius!" rages Doom. "He had the audacity to suggest that Doom might have misplaced a variable in his mystical experiments! All as cover to sabotage the project so that he could finish it himself and claim the credit!"
