Blackhawk sighed deeply, entire body seeming to melt before the heat of...a lack of non-cherry based food.

"Never was good with metaphors," Blackhawk said, strolling over to where his compadres were sitting. "Yo, whassup?" he asked as if they all weren't standing together but thirty seconds ago. "Guess I wasn't too hungry," the hippogriff said as he sat, attempting to avoid offending his fellow's sensibilities.

As is befitting comedic effect, his stomach rumbled almost the instant after he said that.

Kal, being more paranoid than usual, keeps thinking he sees a cat, but it's always his eyes playing tricks on him. Nopony seems to be walking with a limp, though.

"Me?" Barabus swallowed a mouthful of cherries and continued, "I was working in the palace for Celestia actually, I was in the- well, I can't tell you the department exactly, but basically the people who keep all the policing functions like the Guard from paying attention to the... 'indescretions' of agents in the field, so if they - or rather, we, now, had to break into a mansion or something and got arrested, I was one of the ones who made the problem go away. After the Chrysalid Incident, I was simply reassigned to mission control in our current organisation, until you guys got recruited and I was the only agent free." He took another handful of cherries and ate them singly, leaving the stones in a pile.

"Ah." Cheese said, starting on one of the cherry jubilees. "Me. Almost fresh out of schooling. Didn't have a lot going on. Life of a socialite. I'm kinda glad to be doing something important now."

Dexter shrugged. "I... dunno? I didn't really do anything exciting before all this... just a normal dragon. I dunno why I was chosen, to be honest... ehehe..." He's clearly kind of embarrassed.

The sulky look on Blackhawk's face at this point in time cannot be accurately described through text, though it did involve puffing up his beak like cheeks would be. Somehow. "Kids shouldn't be runnin' around on their own like that..."

"It was either that or my good looks." Cheese grins and produces a comb out of no where and proceeds to comb his mane a couple of times. He then returns the comb to where it was in the beginning.
