"If we all gang up on them we'll outnumber them!" Zeela claims as she joins the battle.

Icing pulled his bread knife, turns out he would be needing it after all. "I'm not going to enjoy this, am I?" He asks rhetorically as the mayas face him.

"...I won't let you get hurt..." Readfeather quivers, pulling herself together. "I... I'll make sure you're all okay..."

The first Maya crawls over to Zeela and claws at her (2 damage) before crawling at George and dowing the same. (5 Damage)

"I'm fine..." Zeela comments before somebody asked. "Only just a scratch."

Readfeather flinches back, spreading her wings fiercely.

The second Maya crawls over to Redfeather and slashes with it's claw (5 Damage) and then moves over to Brash and doing the same. (7 damage)

As the Maya moved in and slashed them, Brash went into a wild spun and smacked it with his board once, no twice, in retaliation.

Icing runs past the uninjured maya, his serrated blade scraping at the goo-flesh. He grins and spins around, throwing a silverish orb at it, a bouncy ball it almost seems like, though with spikes like a caltrop. He whips it with his tail towards the now-scratched maya, whether his grin is genuine or just because he is holding a knife in his mouth is up to debate, as the ball rips the maya's skin a bit, hits the ground, then twangs off the helmet/mask thing to ricochet into the other maya, stabbing its tiny spikes into it as well, going through it to hit a wall and finish impaling itself back into the first maya. 'That looks like it hurt... Poor things.'

Maya one slashes at Icing Twice. (deal 6 and 5 in that order) before getting really hurt by it's injury.

Spoiler:

The honeycomb-shaped shield flares and sparks as the maya claws at it, trying to get to Icing, but the energetic barrier holds fast, if barely. Each claw bounces off of it. Icing nods in thanks to Zeela.

He would have gained 4 hitpoints, had he been injured. But he wasn't, so he didn't, but he felt the rush of energy as the battle-fray washed over him anyways. psyching himself out for battle's next step.

"Owww... But nothing to major..." Zeela mutters in responce to the attacks.

I believe the 6 damage one at least hurt Zeela. If not then someone just tell me and I'll delete this post.

Brash skips off the Maya's head like a stone over a lake (except he doesn't sink at the end, lol).

Maya two falls.

"Wow, thanks, good job..." Zeela said, impressed at Brash's reaction and the first Maya falling and mused to herself out loud without meaning to. "I'm starting to like you... Boy this is, going a good deal better then my last group I ended up with..."

Icing throws a glob of bubbling caramel at the remaining Maya. Where he got it from, nopony knows. Maybe Patchie. It bursts and coats the creature in boiling sugar. "You alright?"
