Melody nodded, glad that they were making progress..."Really...? Equestria doesn't have phones? That's...kinda strange. Ah well." She blinked, thinking for a moment. "Oh, I can see that going just -great.- 'So, your kid was being kidnapped by an evil him made up of his inner demons that lived in the TV and then we-Well, you guys anyway...Saved him!' We'd be locked up for being lunatics!" She laughed a bit, shaking her head..."Yeah, not gonna be easy, but you're right, they oughta know."

"Compared to getting a god to spare your life for betraying it over a stupid mistake this should be a cakewalk." Zeela said with a laugh.

"Ah...If you say so, eh, heh..." Melody chuckled a bit...That sounded like some tall tale...Then again, so did magical TV monsters, but...Well, best not to bring that up just yet.

"I'm sure to tell you a little of that chat if you want" Zeela said with a sigh. "It's apart of how I got this eye... Well not really, that chat happened way after Greendale."

"Well, we got a moment...Wouldn't mind hearin' the story if you're willing to tell it...But I won't force ya or anything." To be fair, that odd red eye had been kind of bugging her, it seemed out of place...If Zeela was willing to explain, she'd listen, at least.

"Well... I'm not totally keen on telling it all. But well... Having sent on a kind of group like this... Isn't the first time for me. But last time. There wasn't any trust until the end, even then I only really trusted one of them... Also I ended up doing something that I could never take back... Ended up trading a God's gem eye, for this eye, because of me making a mistake that made me unworthy of said Zebra God's gift." Zeela said with a tear. "And um... It's not much, but it's all I feel I should say right now... Sorry... Anything else feels a bit too personal."

...If it was true, that was...certainly something big...Thing is, either it was true, or Zeela was a really good actor...Regardless, Melody looked away for a moment, before putting a hoof on her back to try and comfort her. "Hey...Sorry, didn't mean to get you all worked up over it...But hopefully things'll go better this time, ya know? I dunno what you did, but I'm sure that at the time it seemed like the best thing to do...Ya don't strike me as a bad sort, anyhow...We all make mistakes, it's how you handle 'em that counts...At least, so say the wise..." She wasn't sure if it was helping, but...It seemed the thing to do...She really seemed worked up, Melody could practically taste it...Come to think of it, had she skipped breakfast? Probably...She shook her head, clearing those odd thoughts away.

"Yeah... After my greatest failure, we started to slowly, so very, very, slowly grain some level of trust... Before it ended... Because of the death of a teammate... Who ended up fighting on the wrong side... Betraying us... And paying for it with his life..." Zeela said as she cries a little more. "I... I... I don't know why I can't stop myself from telling you this."

Melody didn't move, staying there to be a comforting presence, hearing her out..."That's horrible...I'm sorry, it must have been terrible having to fight someone you know..." She was kind of stunned...This didn't sound like some story you'd make up to get attention..."Maybe you needed to let it out...? I'm here for ya, it's okay...It's in the past, it can't hurt you now..."

Zeela just give Melody a hug and cries into her friend for a bit...

Meanwhile... (or maybe not, I'm not sure of the timeline here)

The engineering department was shutting down for the day. And what an interesting, and loud, of so very loud, day it had been. Brash stretched and cracked his shoulders. He was looking forward to seeing what this new stuff at Junes was and took off.

Melody blinked, returning the hug, patting her back a little awkwardly, but trying to comfort her as best she could...She didn't say anything for now, she didn't have the words for it...

Brash dashes over to Junes and sees a 'variety' shop that... holds weapons.

Zeela and Melody feel like they've grown closer togehter. ((Both of you get a 1/battle Defender for one another.))

Brash starts reading all the labels and information on the weapons and even jots down some notes.

After Zeela had her moment the dries her eyes. "Ok... Now lets try to see if we can get Star's number then try to find Shiro, and then his folks..." She states with a smile then headed off to try and find Star, hoping he had recovered by now too...

Star comes out of the bathroom at that point, looking a lot more calm and collected. "Sorry about that, but I think I got all the fear out of my system note to self, look up when I last had corn. Anyway, Zeela,I think I've got your number already." He then pulls out his phone and speed dials Zeela from his directory...causing Melody's phone to ring. "Huh, you think info gatherers would be able to get a phone numbe right."

A large, Brown earth pony with an eyepatch walks around the shop, shining some of the knives and such, and introduces himself as, "Weapon Ree, the finest self defense weapon seller this side of equestria."

He shows you the blades and blunt objects, before seeing your robots. "Oh, if you've got a couple hundred bits, I could tweak these robots of yours and give them some lasers. And if you've got some friends, I can give you guys a bit of custom made weapons to." The pony grins and pats Brash on the shoulder, almost knocking him down to the ground. "After all, not everypony uses Zweihanders."

[You can add 300 bits to the price of your weapon to add 1d6 element damage to all attacks.]

Zeela just laughs at that turn of events, right now she kinda needed a laugh like that. Then they all shared numbers for reals. "Ok then... Well... I'm thinking next on today's major to-do list is finding Shiro and getting him back to his folks..."

Melody blinked in confusion, but was happy to see they were feeling better. She listened for a moment, then nodded. "Yeah, we definately need to handle that sooner rather than later." She wondered where his parents even were, though...But then again, it wasn't looking for something if you knew where it was! "Uh, the griffon took him home, right?"

Zeela nods then tries to ask around to see if she could find where he lives...

Zeela then leads the trio to Gorge's house.

"Well, you certainly seem to know your way around...Better'n I do anyhow, eh, heh..." Melody chuckled, looking around...She was clearly trying to remember the path they'd taken so she didn't get lost if she had to come back in the future.

"So seriously, no phones in Equestria?" Star asked. "I know they're bigger into magic and nature there, but I figured something as useful as this would have gotten through. I mean you've got trains and airships and...trains...uh darn it, why couldn't we have gotten to Equestria yet in World History yet? Right now we're still in the City State era of Pegasi. Rather brutal to each other really."

Zeela shrugs as they walked. "Well... I've never really owned one till coming to this town. Far as I'm aware it's not something Equestrian's have compared to here."
