If they literally did not care, then they would be neutral towards them. Therefore, there would be a lot less of what are known as "Haters", but also a lot less curious people, meaning the marginalized group would be smaller in number.

Literally nothing would change. If I was Dan, then I would go through the same experiences and decisions he did when growing up, so my mind, body and personality develop in the same way, meaning I would make the same choices as Dan, and as such, nothing will change...
