Actually might be a good idea to add something or other to represent the class change. But then again, as soon as I find one of his talents is dead, I'm scrapping the whole plan and keeping what I have.

MEANWHILE, during the extended rest- had he or anyone found alchemical equipment that was in decent enough working order so that I can get my Alchemist Fires restocked?

Didn't they trash most of the alchemical supplies on purpose?

Anyway, don't really see a point in changing/updating (outside of fixes to certain things) unless you all really feel like it. Might reconsider it for when you level, which will be soon but not just yet.

Waiting on Rolf's reply / confirmation that you're taking extended rest's.

Horizon - Holy Justice is an equal opportunity employer, so there are indeed female paladins (and priestesses), though you don't see any right now.

Rolf - You can see both the Kobold (now conscious, it seems) and Goblin, their wounds being tended to by the clergy. The duo are apparently bickering over something. You also recognize a Thiefling that was informally selling things in the crowd of the theater performance, and appears to be trying to do the same to various refugees here.

Are we currently level 3? I initially scrapped the ability swap because in order to have everything I have, It would have taken 36 points, and I thought we only had 30. But then I realized, if we're level 3, then we should have exactly 36 points, and I'm set with no real changes.

Yeah, Jeraylia wanted to trash the alchemy stuff, but Rolf apparently wanted to keep some of them, so you did (technically they're his by right of dibs   ). When'd Horizon become aware of them, though? Don't recall him checking though the boxes before now - he'd have to have heard from the others to have known they were there.

Anything specific you're trying to make with the alchemy, in general? Drinkable potions with some specific effect, weaponized/throw-able flasks, specific chemical stuff (e.g. rubber, glue, drugs...)? I assume the check is just to inspect what your options are / how the equipment works, or are you actually doing stuff and hoping for the best?

Level-wise, I believe you are indeed lvl3 at the moment, but you don't have 36 points, you have 33 (you're probably confusing things with the 'Equestrian Explorers' houserule - you didn't get +3 points at lvl3, since you peeps kept your boon (Zephyria, and the shelter, more or less).

I thought the rest had to take at least 6-8 hours, so we were gonna go rest when we reach back to base.

I thought we were doing it here, so Rolf can have surgery, i can brood and make things to kill with, and you two can have a sing-off.

I was going to assist or watch over Rolf's procedure before calling it a night. Unless it turns out otherwise.

If you go with Rolf , Azarune, I'll guess stay with Horizon instead (ie swap).

If you're all okay with it, I'll initiate a time-skip for the alchemy/surgery. Roll heal, whoever is helping the medical procedure itself. Assists can use other (meaningful) skills. Whether it's an extended rest (6-8ish hrs, sleep in temple) or not (a few hours, so you can return to Mayor's manor and sleep the rest there) is up to you guys.

Works for me.

Edit: Post whatever level-up changes you make here. I also suggest you look up the combat talents and check that they're up-to-date. If you really want to, you can vote on whether you want to switch to the 'updated' abilities.

God, another level 4? Wake me up when we hit level 5, I can't do a damn thing with 500 extra gold and a useless destiny.

Also, I'm pretty certain I'm not updating... though I might have already. I'll go check.

I did update, but I'm 3 points overbudget. Dropping True sight, which is for some reason 5 points, and I'll fill in with something else. Could take the fire elemental things just as an excuse to have infinite Alchemist fires.

EDIT: Done. Horizon's new sheet, with one new ability to represent his new status.

Had to update one combat ability. And, in the spirit of Easter and miracles and so on, somehow I managed to find a destiny that is actually perfectly designed for Horizon as a Deimomancer. Took Mind Sculptor, so I can use fear to influence and enslave people.

I will probably take Self-Discovery, as I need the level 4 Talents for Archlichdom, without the Lichdom part.

Hmm... Maybe I should just give you all 36 points for this point, and  +3 for the other 'boon' levels, since I get the feeling that the future boons won't be of much interest/benefit to you, and since you seem to sort of not interact with Zephyria all that much (outside of when I bring her up).

What are your opinions on the boons (both the 'old' ones, and the new, 'ability'-like ones)?

Well I already traded out and evened up at 33. I got rid of True Sight because I think I used it one time (on the horse- still waiting for that thing to show up again), and for a magic point cost it wasn't worth 5 ability points. Plus the illusiony stuff doesn't really happen too often.

That said, if you want to GIVE me 3 more points anyway, I might be able to find something to do with them. But I'm running low on ability options that fit the character as is, so i'm good with keeping the boon question as it is now. Destinies and Boon shave never been very good, so it's not a big deal to me either way.

EDIT: Then again, the revamped level 7 and 10 boons get REALLY stupid and interesting, so I vote we go with those.

And here I was thinking I was overusing Zephyria. Guess we should use her more often, then. There aren't a lack of strength challenges, after all.

Finished switching my character over to new ability model.
Better at rerolls and assisting others. I'm super stubborn . Really wanted to pick up Tricks of the Trade, but ran out of point options .
Took the Self-Discovery destiny to grab more ability points to fuel my stubbornness.
Also picked up a Ring of Resilience so I got wicked save throws.
