Infinite Laughter

"Maddie doesn't make a whole lot of sense sometimes, but we love her anyway!" Stargazer says as she begins to hum a happy tune. "I don't know why, but I just feel so great now, like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders."

"Oh I do like to think that I do make more sense.. Just I'm used to people being aware of terms that I use as being common know-how... And I forget how to explain them to those who has never interacted with such tings like Improbability, The Drive, Jokers, Mod-Imps, Outposts, and stuff..." Mad Nopony retorts and rants with a smile. "And only friends get to call me Maddie... I'm Mad Nopony for those who wish to be formal-like. But hay, you all in this party are mostly allies in my mind so yeah. Feel free to use the "Maddie" term with I. Just never call me by the name on my collar... That name...just...not to be called... Then again I think I am making sense, it's just nonsense I make, which is the best of sense types there can be."

"Nice way to work in my player's signature! It's a nice touch," Stargazer says with utmost sincerity.

Maddie grins and does a short bow... Nearly having Sugar slide off her back, but the green joker was able to get back upright before that happened. "Though be carefure with the meta-nonsense terms there Lapis-Pony... Or we might confuse Lu-Lu-Belle."

"And this effect will wear off... Eventually..." Maddie adds.

"I think the randomness of you five is rather entertaining. I certainly will not find a boring moment while I am away." Moonseeker giggles as they step into the forest, and the light level goes down a notch or two.

Ghoul nods at Sugar, before turning to the disguised princess. "So, Moonseeker, tell us more about this town we're heading to."

The rest what? Am I the only put off by the pause. Are we walking into danger? Please tell me nothing bad is gonna happen. For some odd reason, Sugar began hyper-ventilating the best he could.

Ghoul groans lightly in pain and holds a hoof to his forehead, bringing his tail around to take its place briefly so he can continue moving forward. "Yes yes, we all felt the intonation there, Sugar. More echoing really doesn't help."
Ghoul sets his hoof back on the ground, facing Moonseeker again. "Why the foreboding end on that sentence?"

"Well if it's anything dangerous, we don't got anything to worry. After all I'M likely to be a greater danger to whatever we face just by myself... Oh wait... No that'd be true if I was back home. Out here I'm noticablly weaker then that... Still, would argue our group is the greater danger to whatever we run into." Maddie comments with a crazed giggle. "So unless you don't trust me to keep you safe, I say calm down Sugar Rush..."

"Well, at least that won't be entirely creepy. You and your sister couldn't remove the curse?" Ghoul says, somewhat nervously.

"Maybe it can't be removed without killing them? What if... We were to try editing their curse?" Maddie mused out loud.

I do trust you...for now. I am still unsure how much my demeanor will change when this knowledge leaves me.
Sugar went silent momentarily at the thought of possibly losing his humbleness.
Just as a crazy thought, maybe some extra chaos would release them. Seeing as how it's Discord, unless its extremely powerful harmonic magic, it might respond well to chaotic magic.

"Just what I was thinking too Sugar... Trying to add more chaos into the curse might just be the trick to save them. Or at least get them moving again..." Maddie comments with a grin to the pony on her back as the group travels in the forest. "And I do hope you keep some of this niceness you've got since the whole Temporary Fourth Wall Madness outbreak in the party."

"Well, it seems that you really can not be much more harmonious than stone, so perhaps a little chaos from you might bring them back." Her ear twitches, and she freezes. She suddenly reverts back to her normal form to fly out of the way of something jumping at her from the forest. "Timberwolves!"

Ghoul trips and rolls, exiting in a surprisingly prepared battle stance.

Meta:

Going with the idea QuicK had, Ghoul breathes a few brief spurts of fire towards the timberwolves, shouting at them as well in an attempt to scare them off. He makes sure not to breathe the fire near any low hanging branches or shrubberies.

Meta:

The timberwolves shy away for a moment, then one of them opens it's mouth and breaths at Ghoulish Guise, putting out his fire and inflicting Vulnerability 2 (save-end) on him and Mad Nopony (adjacent).

Maddie laughs at the odd breath attack. "Oh yes... Fight's more fun when the life's more on the line... But first, here have a breath mint!" Then the green earth pony summons a bomb that she quickly jams into the Wolf's mouth. "Oh I'm so happy my super-chaos was already spent for today... No worries of the fight ending earily unlike the last one we had with those cop-ponies that ended up chaosed..."
