Maddie giggles and attacks with a bomb that has an fractal explosion to do damage to all three known targets of the hand, claw, and tentacle of the unknown horror they were fighting. Next the Goo-blob of purple and fighting charges at the hand trying to bite it hard but only glances off it at best.

Rather peculiar without context, Zach thought, but it did the job; a wide knight's shield materialized in front of Ghoul as the zebra schemed his next rhyme...

Ghoul takes a step back from the thing, despite the protection the shield offers. More of his fear leeches from him to the thing, making it restrain its blows should it swing.

The Tentacle reaches up and blocks Maddie from injuring the main body, swatting her aside and dealing her 7 damage (resists and penalties not taken into account). The Hand then reaches for Zacharias and picks him up, giving him a good squeeze (8 damage) before dropping him on Ghoulish (6 damage).

He glanced upwards. A white streak could be seen in the sky. The battle seemed to pause as others looked upwards at the falling Star Pony. Zach smiled; he had done it again!
The streak landed in a resounding crash between the party and the monster, burning the Hand in the process, as it failed to move out of the way quickly enough. Smoke rose from the ground, revealing inside the crater a gleaming white stallion that towered above the mere mortal ponies it had deigned to join in battle...

Note
The proper order of applying modifiers to damage is:
1) Initial Damage Amount
2) Static Buffs / Penalties on the attacker (-2 damage)
3) Variable Buffs / Penalties on either side (Half damage, Weakened)
4) Subtract Resist
5) Add Vuln if the previous amount resulted in more than 0
Then it actually damages the player for that final amount. If you can complete through 3), that'd be really, really awesome.
Also, the "Roar of Challenge" half damage is separate from the Weakened (save ends) half damage. So Hand will deal 1/4 damage on attacks that don't target Ghoul this turn.

The creature suddenly screams soundlessly, but your ears burst in pain (15 damage to all) and you can feel blood trickling from your ears (ongoing 3 (save ends) to all). The claw, hand and tentacle shake, and before your eyes become visibly thinner.
The claw then reaches out and swipes at Ghoul (3 damage), giving him deep scratches, while also grazing Sugar and Runeheart (2 damage).
(Keep in mind that i don't really factor stuff in... yeah, also too tired right now to do that kinda math...)

Maddie growls with rage... "I understand not all fights are won... But I hate cheap shots... I'm not on a B-Rank here on the mainland. Therefore... FEEL MY RAGE!" Next the Joker pony attacked all out with a blitz of many mini-mod-imps to explode at the Main Body of the fully horror they faced. An odd aftereffect blow of energy flowing back to the Joker and randomly the newbie.

The hand, claw, and tentacle shudder again, and become visibly thinner again. Somehow, the main body still appears happy, pink and fluffy, and energetic.
The hand grabs at Ghoul, shakes him vigorously (daze), then tosses him into the air, where the tentacle catches him, and he can feel its suction cups try to suck some of the life out of him, though apparently his fur gets in the way of it and he only gets hurt from the squeezing (1 damage).

The main body pulls out a rainbow rug and a fake unicorn horn, then proceeds to be a Pink Fluffy Unicorn Dancing on Rainbows.
