I honestly don't see much of a benefit to this one. I'm pretty sure you're losing Sanity Points faster this way. Perhaps a better idea might be to delay the negative effects of lost Sanity?

The problem being that I'm pretty sure that it was decided that these "Flaws" were going to be talents with noticeable drawbacks as opposed to just a plain old flaw.

How about more generic handicaps like
Blind
You cannot use any vision based skills, stealth checks against you raise by 5, +5 bonus on hearing based perception checks. You are always under the blinded effect in combat.
