Playing in the Sandbox

Cyrta made no move for the sake, as she was sharing the room with Tethe and considered it forfeit.

Tethe whistles a cheery little victory tune as she quickly slips into the guys room and practically skips out with their sake. "thank you!" she calls back over her shoulder in tone with the music as she returns to her room.

Settling down by the window with both bottles she pours herself a glass and promptly shotguns it before pouring another and taking her time with the second.

Around this point the kalasthar came back with the food for Masaru. After placing it in his room she told the group, "If you would like to bathe we have a hot spring in the center. Just go down to the first floor and back through the lounge. It is divided three ways so that there is a men's, women's, and communal bathing area. There are spare towels and robes there as well as in your closets. If you wish to dim the lights in your room, just close the shutters on the lamps like so." At which point she walks into the large room and turns a circular portion underneath it, that none of you had yet noticed, clockwise and the light dimmed and was completely covered. Then she turn it back counter-clockwise and the light shone fully. "Is there anything else you need at this time?" she asked.

As soon as his food was set down in front of him he started chowing down, practically stuffing it in his face. "No...I think I'm fine." He barely managed to say through his munching.

"I think we have been helped to our satisfaction, thank you." Skaimos said. "A bath does nice right about now." Skaimos grabbed a towel and robe and started heading down to the men's area of the hot spring.

Maihime thinks quietly for a moment before standing up from the bed and rooting through the closet, pulling out a blanket and robe for herself. "It sounds like an excellent chance to relax to me." She says as she leaves for the women's baths herself.

Tethe shakes the bottle she's been steadily draining in the direction of the Kalashtar. "Can I bring this down to the hot spring with me?" She asks before pouring herself another glass.

"Of course." the Kalashtar replies with a smile.

Masaru soon finished his meal and started pondering on the options provided to them. "It's been a while since I've had a bath..." He said to himself, before giving a curious sniff to his arm-pit and making a disgusted face. "Ugh! I could certainly use one!" He decided, grabbing a towel and heading to the male baths.

Uhiya watched aghast as Masaru wolved down his meal. She shook her head and grabbed a towel for herself as she went off to the hot spring as well.

Tethe smiles at the response, stuffing a towel and robe under one arm, and carrying the bottles in the crook of the other like an infant as she follows the others down towards the baths.

Toku shrugged...He could probably use the cleaning himself, heading to his room to grab a robe and towel, heading to the baths himself. Though really, if it was an actual hot springs, all he'd probably end up doing is ensuring he couldn't sleep. But either way, it was a luxury he intended to take advantage of for now.

The kalashtar lead the way back for them, after making sure they locked their doors and had their keys. She parted ways with them after they reached the lounge room and indicated the doorway (which was mildly puzzling since you were all certain where to go and this only lead to thoughts of who would actually need that kind of help and why she might think it would apply to you or if there were enough such people that it was just a matter of policy). Inside there was another smaller hallway, those who went to the men's section went to the right, the women's to the left, and the coed all the way around to the opposite side (where there was another doorway opposite across from the door to the hot spring, which possibly lead to another lounge room or such).

No matter which third of the hot spring each of you went into, you're greeted with more or less the same sight of a large hot spring with a few large ornamental rocks in it and bamboo fences that divide the hot spring up into the three sections. There's nobody but, an elderly thri-kreen in the male section, two middle aged kalashtar women in the women's, and four children (thri-kreen female, thri-kreen male, shardmind, and drow male) around the age of 6-8 are playing around in the coed section. Smithe joins those going to the male section and Uhiya gives Masaru a puzzled look as she continues on to the coed section.

Masaru returned the puzzled look, then slowly realized that he was counted in the coed, not the males. With a slightly embarrassed face, he corrected his course to the coed section; not really understanding why this was the case, but just assuming it was usual custom.

Maihime heads down to the women's bath, changing out of her clothes in moments with the practiced ease of someone used to changing costumes several times during a performance. Heading out into the bath proper she slips into the warm waters and leans back relaxing, glad for a chance to simply let her stress wash away after spending so much of the trip sick from the zombie's bite.

Tethe for her part heads towards the coed baths, picking a spot for herself to relax and drink while she soaks and watches the night sky.

The two women in the women's section of the hot spring give Maihime a brief look of scorn before continuing to talk.

Cyrta heads to the coed section as well.

Maihime briefly consideres the pros and cons of siccing Ryuusei on them but decides against it, opting to simply ignore them and relax.

Tethe pops her neck once before taking a sip from a glass of sake. She looks towards the changeling siblings for a moment before holding up another pair of saucer-like cups towards them from the small bucket she has it all sitting in. "Care to join me?"

"Now that's an offer that I can't refuse!" Masaru said, having already changed. He walked over to Tethe, grabbing one of the cups and sitting down next to her.

Uhiya shrugs and takes a cup as well with a smile.

When everyone gets out of the hotspring and go to the changing room, they notice their clothes & armor (where applicable) are missing from their baskets.

Nobody answered so, I figured nobody had anything else to do. Everyone roll Perception.

"I was sure I put them right there..." Cyrta mutters to herself as she looks around.

Toku scowled a bit, crossing his arms in annoyance. "Well...This is unfortunate. Where am I going to keep my tools now?" he wondered, looking around for the thief. After all, he was given to understand that in some places, the penalty for theft was to have one's hand removed at the wrist. And, to be entirely honest, right now? He could understand why. Maybe it was karma? Let the undead live, be punished with theft? Then again, the others had been robbed too, so perhaps he was overthinking it.

Perception:

Tethe blinks, placing her hands on her hips with a snort and shake of her head. "Really now, is this some kind of prank?" She asks no one in particular as she looks around.

Perception Tethe:

Maihime’s eyes go wide as she realizes her clothes are gone, looking around frantically to find them.

Perception Maihime:

"W....Why would someone do that?" Skaimos started looking around for any clues regarding who may have taken the clothes.

Spoiler:

"Wha... Those are the only things I owned! Now what am I going to do?!" Masaru screamed to himself, running around in a panic searching for his possessions.
