"Right then... Let's get this show started!" Lore shouts out, though obviously pained. He then proceeds to launch what appears to be a curtain of dark magic at the three guards, enveloping them all and making them start feeling sick and hacking up weird purple blobs. At least the blobs don't seem to be doing anything...

The now sickly earth pony hocks up some purple gunk, panting in exertion as he gives Lore a rather weak buck to the side, a soft glow covering the unicorn once more. " S-should we fall back?"

Not knowing just how close the party was to dropping the earth pony, Mic decides to buffer their health just in case something was going to happen. He glows a soft white once more and the party's wounds are healed up slightly.

"Aww, it's been so fun... But I think it's time we ended this show." Lore remarks, before he envelops the Earth pony in more dark magic, this one seeming to intensify the effect of the last spell, causing immense pain and more hacking up of purple blobs. This causes the Earth pony to pass out from pain. Lore contemplates doing more, but decides to wait and see what the others decided. Besides, taking out an unconscious opponent just didn't suit him.

Off in the distance there's a boom and a bright streak soars up into the sky, vanishing with a twinkle. After a few minutes, an orange pegasus decked out in familiar looking golden armour and shoes glides down, making gentle loops to slow her descent.

"I helped Flash achieve his dreams øf stärdom." she explains, simply.

APC laughs. "Hope he never comes back, dude's an ass. And I hate the pony version of that guy. Human version... While pointless, wasn't too bad. Just he pony version I can't forgive it's existence. So TOO THE MOON! Or outer-space as the case may be."

Mic dashes over, poking the slightly large armor set with a smirk. "Hey, no fair! This is an MMO, we share the loots." He smirks, flicking his tail back and forth and grinning. "Also.... That... Was... AWESOME!" He jumps up into the air, giving Valk a giant hug. "I mean holy cupcakes I know that wasn't part of the whole combat encounter programming but that was so totally awesome! You turned him into... into a shooting star!"

"Don't think this MMO has a loot system... Think it's more a level up related system, where the leveling happens from a fixed action with a set group or something..." APC comments.

The tree turns grey, then is blown away by the wind as ash, to reveal 'Rose' on the ground, curled up and covering her eyes with her hooves.

The road before the party is now open. The three guards lay at the side in a neat pile, down for the count.

The unicorn speaks up, barely conscious. "Y-you know this doesn't mean anything, right? Even if you get to the... Princess, there's nothing... you can do. She's nothing like us. She's a...god."

Valkyrie looks down at Mic still wrapped around her chest, and grins. "I could get üsed tø this," she comments, until the heavy-set stallion lets go. She flies over to land next to the downed unicorn, "It døes nøt mätter, a bareserker ventures forth only før ädventure and herøic combat!"

She shakes off the chestplate and shoes. "Take whät you like, but the helmet is mine - I claimed it fäir and squäre." she says, starting to trot off. The pegasus makes it three steps before a whistling sound starts to fill the air above. "Hey does anypony else hear that whi-"

A thunderous crash drops down right behind Valkyrie, sending her leaping a good metre into the air. "Lutfisk!" she shouts, turning around and scrambling backwards a little. The smoke clears away slowly to reveal a black iron pole tipped with a pearl-white winged spear tip embedded into the ground, small fissures cracking the ground. A little before the head is a little strip of parchment winding its way a little down the shaft, inscribed with a brief message - 'Thanks for the gift.'

Valkyrie slowly approaches the spear, and, wrapping a pastern around it, pulls it from the ground and hoists it into the air with a bellow of triumph. Lightning flashes and a hint of a guitar riff sounds.

Astral Spear acquired

"It seems the gøds agree." she adds, taunting the unicorn as she slings the spear over her back.

APC was doing some minor edits to his character's build and then he noticed he didn't have his "armor" equpied... "Oh, for the love of..." Then the action of the blue earth pony turning on his watch happened before the rest of the group. "Now that Regen thing will do things... And lets see if those minor edits to my build make things more fun or not. Pitty we're still level 1... Would love to get to fully unlocking a major piece of my build's damage per second capability."

Mic looks at the two of them, grinning as his tail flickers back and forth and he whinnies. "Oh, messing with your combat? I'm gonna do the same, heh~" After a few short seconds, the large pegasus's earring glows and his jacket gains a small red trim near the bottom, something that catches the pony's eyes. "Oooh, shiny. Can't wait to try it out!" He glances over to rose, walking over and patting her shoulder. "You all right?"

"Why did you have to fight them?" She cries. "There was so much more we could have explored, so many monsters we could have fought, but you all decided that you wanted to go to Celestia now. Why!?" She sighs and picks herself up. "Never mind. Like APC said, they're just NPCs, but I just can't see anyone get hurt." She sniffles and shakes her head. "I might as well do something with my 'combat build' as well, so maybe I can do a better job of healing next time..."

Mic's ears flatten to his head and he sighs. "Well..." He sits down beside the mare and puts a wing around her. "This is a game, and we wanted to progress. Exploring the world was fine and dandy, but if you remember the mountian town last time... We got stunted very quickly." Mic smiles down at the mare, softly. "I guess we were hasty in trying to get to Celestia, but right now we want names and cutie marks and to actually get on to the more in-depth part of the game before we get stuck in the prologue again." The pegasus looks at the others and towards the large white castle town.

'Rose' sighs. "I guess you're right." She looks at APC, confused for a moment. "How do you say things like 'cake' and 'donut' without them being changed into pastries, like they are for the rest of us?"

'Rhyme' Flaps his wings, looking over to Rose. "It doesn't sound like he is..." Mic mumbles out a couple of japanese cusses, which turn into japanese pastries like Mochi and dango once the censor gets ahold of it.
