Dart gets an idea.  He blows puffs of ice onto the floor, in order to freeze the ground solid under the pig vault.

Ice Affinity:

The pig loses its footing and slides at high speed headfirst into one of the trees. One of the paper coated branches fell off the tree, bringing it's hanging guitar down with it. The instrument fell and shattered against the vault's head with a loud *TWAING*. Whether from falling acoustic guitars or from crashing into the tree, the vault is knocked out and there's a small crack on its head.

Dart goes over and just tries to open up the vault.

With the lousy thing holding still, this time its quite easy to open. As soon as you do, you have an odd vision.

What Dart sees:

The vision fades just as suddenly as it started. The unconscious vault is still lying there and you can sort of sense the memory still inside it even though you saw it.

The whole situation so far was a little overwhelming to Marsh.  "Miracle, are you okay with just leaving out? It's been a lot to think about and I'm new to all this."

Miracle nods. "Yeah. Levia has smelling salts. Y'wanna leave now or get to the end first?"

"Kay." Miracle begins to walk again, moving back towards the train tracks and Levia follows. The two will catch up with Cloud shortly.

Cloud makes an acknowledging wave of the hoof to Marsh and the other pair, waiting for them before moving to join the other assembled campers.

Seeing what had worked so well previously, Dart looked for another opportunity. Seeing the paths they were traveling, he froze the ground in front of another vault, and flipped it over once it lost its balance.

OOC:Planning on using this method for the other vaults as well. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Acrobatics:

Acrobatics:

You manage to slip, trip and flip another vault, though it hasn't been opened. In the meantime, the first one you busted open his gotten back to its feet and is headed for somewhere safer. It doesn't seem permanently damaged, just dazes and pissed.

When you all get to the end of the path, Featherbow is waiting along with a bunch of older students who just hauled ass through the mindscape. He's giving a long speech about how they're all winners and bluh bluh, but it's clear his heart's not in it. Levia holds out smelling salts to the first years in an offering fashion.

Marsh outstretched a hoof, "So...how do these work?"

Pyro had quietly stood next to Levia for some time now, ready to offer explanations of smelling salts. He stepped up to do so now.

"Marshom. Do you remember when I 'stepped out' to manage Hauler and Taller, and you got pulled out too? These smelling salts Levia is hoofing out are how you can leave a Mental Landscape. Right now Levia is sharing; you'll be given your own, physical tin when we get back to the Wake. In a tight spot, any method of waking yourself up, as in a nightmare, will also get you out of the Landscape; but this is the most reliable method."

Dart goes up to the one he just tripped and opens it.

Cloud stares at the smelling salts for a moment, before obliviously asking, "So how do you use them then?"

What Dart sees:

Levia gently tipped the salts into Marsh's hooves, not letting their fur touch. She then sort of pantomimes smashing something between her own hooves.

OOC:Can Dart see how many vaults are remaining?

Dart moves to the next vault, freezing the ground in front of it, and flipping it over onto it back. Assuming its flipped, he'll then proceed to open it.

When you come around and look for the other pigs, they seem to have wisely dispersed into the forest and hidden.

Dart just shakes his head at the memory.  But he's not about to give up on the rest of the pig vaults, well at least for now.

Perception:

Following Levia's instructions, Marsh nervously paused before shattering the smelling salts between her hooves.
