Equestrian Task Force: ETF OOC

With all of the commotion about the newest princess and the upcoming Equestrian games, most other news gets largely ignored or put off. However, there has been a string of disappearances of various ponies, mostly unicorns, from many towns. While all of these missing ponies may seem largely unrelated to one another, the Princesses still are wary of a looming threat to the land. Princess Celestia and Luna unable to officially investigate the matter themselves lest they cause a panic and refusing to notify Twilight of the matter for her own safety have decided to form their own secret task force to reconnoiter the situation.

You will be recruited into joining the Equestrian Task Force or ETF investigating the growing issue of these missing ponies. The ETF is responsible for any investigations that cannot be allowed to be known by the general public in support for the crown. While the Princesses were fighting Discord, the ETF were the ones that found the Tree of Harmony. They were also the ones who initially investigated Nightmare Moon returning and advised Celestia to send Twilight to Ponyville in the hopes that she would find the other Element wielders and defeat Nightmare Moon.

Timewise this will be taking place during the as of now current season of MLP and depending on your investigation, may take you all over the land of Equestria some established places others that will be made up for this campaign.

Your character can be as creative as you want them but they need to have a way of communicating with the general populace without causing a panic. Characters can use either the old talent system or the current ability system, the sky is the limit.

This will be a straightforward PbP with nice healthy mixes of investigation and combat. Players of any experience may enter. Looking for about 4 or 5 players maybe 6 if the sheets are good.

I half encourage Mary Sue and broken characters this will just add more BAMF to status of the group.

Huh. I guess it's just a toss up between dull efficiency and exciting uncertainty. Or perhaps build both, and convince someone else to play one of them.

I still need to type up her backstory, and re-flavor the combat talents. Beyond that she's done.

EDIT: Got her story made. (She'll need to be bribed a little.) And, looking at her backstory, the default flavor works pretty well for her combat talents. And so I left them alone.

And if this doesn't start soon I guess she could go to Fever Enigmatic.

Well, I suppose I could bring out Shade. Been wanting to use his build since An Abominable Antagonist. Of course, I expect his backstory may pose a bit of a problem, but since we seem to have a humanoid in the party, I expect you'll be lenient.

Of course you realize Phoenix was also in Abominable Antagonist, so if he fits, you should fit. I'm using my generic Multiverse jumping backstory excuse again.

Sounds good to me. Honestly as long as my character is even being considered as acceptable for a game, I can't say anything about anyone else's. Besides, at least its a pony (right?), based on a show character. It's practically canon.
