Okay, when The Wind-up goes to hit Midas with the Wind Up key, you can see something sticking out the bottom.

The bottom of the key or the wind-up?

The WInd-up Key. The one that belonged to the Sunflower, which is currently a puddle of goo in the floor.

Midas can make a perception check too, if he wants.

Okay, while The Wind-up moves to smack you with the key, you notice that in addition to the large key that stuck out from the wind-up, there was also a much smaller key sticking out the other end, more suited to opening locks

I know it doesn't help me either way, what with being out cold... but is the fight over? As in, we're grabbing the keys and running, leaving the robots still alive?

Cause if that's the case, then guys? I think it's time to level grind.
(I hate letting bosses win. In the "love to hate" sense of the word, of course.)

@Cav, why don't we do all three? Instant Party and story time, then extended rest.

Story time sounds good, as does Elacular's idea.

The thing is, current Instant party only gives the bonus to checks for an hour, so going with IP and then doing an extended rest might be considered wasteful

Meh, it's cool and in-character. I'd go for it.

Besides, we need to eat, and then we can tell stories over food. I dunno about you guys, but Midas is hungry.

Also of note is that, now that things have slowed down, you can address the fact that Marked Question seems to have vanished...

Right, shoot. I forgot about that. So give me a minute to do a quick recap of what happened in that room, and people can fill in the cracks so that nobody's forgotten something important.

-We enterget shoved into the room.
-Sunlit flies into the sky, gets turned into a robot.
-Everything but the kitchen sink falls from the sky. We are largely unharmed.
-The windups get sinister, Discord incenses them to fight.
-Sunlit gets KO'd in roughly 10 seconds.
-Compass is close behind him.
-Midas melts a windup into goo.
-A key drops from it, Midas grabs the key.
-Steel Works bundles up Compass+Sunlit, he jets.
-Midas (and I assume Skitter) follow him.
-Sunlit wakes up.

Did I miss anything? And, where in all of that did Marked disappear, exactly?

So, small edit, since my post was made in haste, and I kind of want to play Compass as a little obsessive over TFS.

Anyway... Mjh, I was wondering if I'd have to use Instant Party to get food. I was thinking of reflavoring that part of the ability as Compass having travelling rations.
...though I wouldn't be surprised if Discord gave us food if we asked for it.

Considering the original purpose of IP was to make summoning rations more exciting I'm going to say no?

However, It might be possible Discord is willing to offer food to ensure the game keeps going longer. But you'd probably need to ask.

That's a good question. Discord isn't going to offer ( at least not this early) without someone asking first.

Well, edited my post to as far as food begging as I could get, if it helps. Deciding in one go "We need to ask Discord!" seemed too much, which is why... just sort of asking stuff to the party ( and whoever is listening) instead.

They slid into the ground. Also, i don't quite understand the question. The doors to all the tunnels are open, so they can just go down a tunnel. The room itself is pentagonal, with 1 door per wall, made of stone with torches keeping the room lit.

ooooooh. I was thinking in terms of cartoon physics, where the corridors vanish along with their doors. Discord never ceases to confuse.
