Ah, here we go! Hopefully, this will keep the threads from breaking off as often. So, did Rolf see any of the abduction, and/or is he currently connected to "Psionic Cell Service"? Because otherwise his plan will be to use Immovable on the Drow's belt, come back out, and ask what he should do...only to see that the gang's already got their hands full.

Yeah, he saw stuff, but didn't act - it's probably hard to coordinate with your allies when you're invisible, or he probably didn't want to "blow his cover" just yet, or was acting as lookout in case the Drow noticed, or whatever other reason. As for the "PCC", just ask Zephy, she's right there.

This is gonna be hard getting used to.

Did the cultist we've captured have anything interesting on him?

Also, I like Lynt's idea of Rolf using his invis to follow the remaining drow cultist to the main tent and see if there's a way to bypass the shields. Of course, maybe we should be careful about detection wards. Make an arcana check, maybe?

Alternatively, as Ramsus brought up, wrench throwing is on the task list. We could cause trouble by taking the drow out, and making someone have to come investigate if his duty was in anyway important. If someone leaves from the main tent, maybe we could see part of the process. Though, if we watch from the outside, we might miss something involved due to the wards being between us.

The cultist had the bucket (empty), a biscuit, a few wax candles, and some money (100g worth), along with his clothes. Arcana (or perception, since Rolf can see magic) check for wards and such is allowed, though distance may be a hindering factor in determining presence of such.

In any case, make a decision for the Drow, as he'll leave the shack otherwise.

Oh, and keep in mind, invisibility/Stealth Mode lasts only 5 minutes - I think you used up about half its duration so far.

So, what's the consensus on the drow cultist? Are we just going to let him leave and watch him?

Punch him in the throat, then set him on fire and let him run around the camp. It'll take some of the pressure off me.

Ramsus is leaving the forum. He's gotten tired of all that's going on between him and the mods, namely his multiple bans plus his current one, and has decided to stop dealing with it. He may come back if the mods decide to reconcile, but that's not looking very likely at the moment. I hate to bring this news, but there's not much else I can do. Sorry for being the bearer of bad news.

Bugger. Sad to hear it. I guess Koras will have to be promoted to party mascot. I expect much more team involvement from her, and she'll have to multiclass rogue so she can use Skitter's daggers. At least I picked up a biscuit we can use to train her.

Koras isn't a great mascot. Horizon can't even see it half the time.

Besides, wouldn't you like a nice mimic?

Not sure what to do with Skitter now, then. I think I'll have him stay untill you guys finish with the camp. That, or think up some reason for him to leave the party temporarily. Maybe have him call for reinforcements?

Well don't take this the wrong way, but if ever there was an optimal excuse for a character to suddenly end up dead, now's the perfect time. Entirely hostile environment, such as it is, as opposed to other times when its broad daylight on a peaceful city street, while the party is out shopping. You'd just have to have him run off somewhere (impatience, scouting ahead, whatever), and then we never see him again.

First off, I'm not killing his character. Unless you guys want him to stay inside the camp with you, he'll probably leave it to go rooftop-scouting the camp, or something. Afterwards he'll probably get the same treatment as Tiffany/Rabiah.

Secondly, remember Wheaton's Law.

For what it's worth... It was just a joke. But I am sorry... It did come out a bit harsher then I thought it'd look like.

Edit - To clarify, Z's statement of "don't be a dick" as a reference to Wheaton's Law is a gray area - because he's citing a law (and one endorsed by the forums) more than making an accusation... But it still shouldn't be phrased that way.

Horizon is heading in the approximate direction of the rest of the team.

I think Zthulan should disguise himself with the cultist robes we have, so he can be inconspicuous and has arcane knowledge if he needs to bluff. Jer has a bit more stealth ability, anyway. Also, should I use the candle burn the shack down? I could delay the timing by melting the bottom and tilting it so the candle falls over after a time, and causes disruption after we've moved on.

Know what I think it'd be funny to see? The drow doesn't make it back, so ZIlean comes out screaming, and from out of the crowd, he just gets domed by an empty bottle.

Speaking of the drow, I wonder if there's any chance I can intercept him on his way back to Zilean's tent.

Brony, roll a athletics check (for the "collision", opposing the Drow's acrobatics) and a perception check (to find your team).

...Well, crap. Zarhon, is there any way I can try using Magical Tricks to fix the crack before the Drow sees it?

I'd be turning the beaker into...a fixed beaker. Granted, it only lasts an hour, but I'll hopefully be out of here by then.

Why would you do that, when I was specifically trying to break the beaker and fuck up whatever plan Zilean needs it for.
