Eldritch talents

Maybe this is me tooting my own horn, but.... there's rules for a sanity meter. And maybe, just maybe, there can be talents that affect that meter. This is where we can post those talents. Maybe they give you sanity points, or cost sanity to use, or make you Screwy if you fail your check. Whatever the reason... these talents are not for the weakminded, faint of heart, or innocent souls.

This is a hilarious idea. Of course, if we want losing sanity to be a bad thing - having good talents activate when you lose sanity is a negative element. If you want to encourage losing sanity, having good talents activate when you lose sanity is a positive element.

I'd be interested to see how this supplement plays around.

I'm thinking in general that an Eldritch Lore check automatically takes a point of sanity whether or not you succeed.

Off Kilter:
--You do not lose sanity points from using Eldritch talents, but you do not gain sanity from sleeping. Eldritch attacks still affect you as normal.

Mouth of Sauron:
--You gain +4 to persuasion for the next ten minutes. Sacrifice a sanity point for every successful persuasion check.
