The acid seems to splash uselessly off of Doom's armor as Doom blasts Brittle with magic (take 2).

Dextor scrambles under the wire as well, taking a blast to the face. From there, he starts carefully looking for an opening to attack without hitting a friend.

Finally, Doom creates a magical green forcefield around himself. "Now you cannot touch Doom," he says imperiously. "Now Doom shall destroy you at his liesure."

Barabus snarled at the appearance of doom's forcefield, skidding to a halt instead of coming around for another swing. He called to the blurred form of Blackhawk, saying " Hit him in the face, he's got some sort of super armour!"

As Zebulon enters, he is predictably blasted by Doom's magic (take 3).

Blackhawk thought at lowered relative speed, but attempted to do so as fast as possible. "Alright, then, think hard here, how am I gonna get past that force field?...and where'd that other voice we heard earlier get off to?"

He frowned. "Where did she go..."

Dextor continues to look for an opening, gathering his strength for when he has the opportunity to strike.

Doom's eyes flash, and magic flows from Dextor to Doom.

"What? Wh-what's going on?" Dextor wonders nervously and loudly.

"Sure thing, Thermite!"
Barabus swung again, hoping that damn armour wouldn't stop him again.

Right as Barabus begins his swing, Doom's force field vanishes, leaving Doom open to the punch. Doom staggers backward one step, but recovers quickly and steps forward to his previous position.

"Your strength is impressive, monster," he sneers, "though it is nothing compared to Doom."

"Take heart, my friends - Doom is but one pony!"

Zebulon's inspiring words... inspire everypony in the room besides Doom.

"Doom is one pony, yes, but Doom is worth twenty of the lesser ponies," Doom sneers.

"Nice theory you got there!" Blackhawk cried. When had he moved behind Doom, anyway?

It didn't really matter, though. From behind or from the front, the strategy was the same: slam into Doom at extremely high speeds and hope something would come from it. Still, judging by the expression on the swift-mover's face, it wasn't exactly a pleasant experience to attack through metal like that.

But then Blackhawk smiled a little because he heard something important-sounding crack. "Don't really seem to work in practice, though," he said, setting himself down whilst wincing slightly. "Give up, Doom. You're outnumbered and we hit pretty freakin' hard."

"Have you no brains, whelp?" Doom rages. "Doom is superior to ALL! And you foals are no exception!"

During this rant, Dextor focuses, then breathes out an inordinate amount of flames, which form into the shape of a large dragon. The dragon then proceeds to breath flame onto Doom, obscuring him for a moment. When the flames die down, however, Doom is once more enveloped in a force field.

"Ignore this new thing cheese, it can't change the fact we're gonna wipe him out!"
