Initiative order. Tea Time, Khaarazite

Tea Time fires her dual machine guns at Khaarazite in a random spray, laughing maniacally all the while. Most of them miss, but one lands a hit, drawing blood. Khaarazite takes one ongoing damage.

Elsewhere, in another room. Monkey Tail turns over in his hammock. Hearing the noise he mutters in his sleep. "Yes, I would like seconds..snxx."

"Hmm, let's see what we've got here," Golden Spike mutters as his unrestrained curiosity drives him to check the engine. "Oh, and don't worry, I won't break anything, I've fixed up more gadgets and do hickeys around the farm than most ponies encounter in a lifetime. If there's anything wrong with it I should be able to fix it, or at the very least figure what's wrong with it."

The engine is a little beat up, probably from long years of use, but its still serviceable. It looks like earthquake caused very little, if any, damage to it.

You could almost swear you see Tea Time faintly glowing.

Trusting the creature will follow him, Cloud brush sets off at a slow walk, heading for the fountain.
Let's see if I can find that fountain... I think I saw one at the other side of the village when I flew in yesterday...

Xeca moves to the engine curiously, attemptng to assist in its repair. Maybe she can do something useful?

Miracle steps down into the crawlspace and bends down alongside Spike, taking a quick survey of the engine. To her, really, it seems usable in its current state... but why pass up a chance for some free labor, right? She bends and begins working on the engine, occasionally asking for bits that had sprung off and cartwheeled into corners. There aren't many; the engine's a sturdy mare, if not too quick, thinks Miracle.

Working all together you manage to fix what little damage there was to the engine, and even fixed some of the damage from regular wear and tear. For anything more than that, you'd probably need to be in an engine shop with some spare parts.

"Well, that oughta have done the trick, and I reckon we'll be able to get to our destination even quicker," Golden Spike claims cheerfully as he jumps out of the crawlspace. "So, I guess we should head out now."

"Rrrchkiz," Xeca agreed. She smiled, hesitantly, at Miracle. This was a positive, right?

"Sure, looks fine!" Miracle smiles, widely, pats XECA on the head and walks over to the wheel, taking it in her mouth. "Westward ho," she exclaims, "...again!" And the caravan is on its way once more, in the puttering, iron ruckus that is a caravan in transit.

The wind skims the rim of the wooden traveling-home, like the touch of a sibilant old musician on the edge of an ancient pottery wineglass. It produces an creaking note, of a familiar sort. It's the note played by Age to make its presence known.

Today is going to be, thinks Miracle, a long day.

Golden Spike, Xeca and Miracle Elixir pass numerous farms. A couple of hours into the trip you feel another quake, but this is much softer than the previous one. Some of the farms you pass have damage from the previous earthquake and you occasionally see ponies about making repairs. The sun is setting and it will be difficult driving at night, but still doable.

Khaarazite rolls his eyes at this statement. He could make a party somehow appear in about five minutes, she doesn't have an excuse. But there is excitement to be had, and the changeling wasn't going to miss a moment of it!

While the training he has done under Master Roti has taught him new ways to fight, Khaarazite prefers one of the fighting styles taught to him back at the hive; the use of the enemies' emotions or energy against them. From draining emotions to creating false one, a changeling can control the battlefield. Sadly, it's considered by most changelings to not be as effective as the good old fashioned "go-in-there-disguised-as-the-enemy-and-punch-everything" method. Either way, this changeling had a plan. He starts by using his magic to cause the maid's emotions to leak. He then follows this by draining the emotions from Tea Time into himself, feeding on her anger, while also creating a burst of emotion from the leak, doing more damage...

Khaarazite can't shake the feeling that his actions didn't do too much though. He also can't shake the bullet wound he suffered, as it continues to sting. This plan worked better in his head...

As Cloud Brush and Steel Heart head to Fountain Circle, you see a couple of ponies heading East. They look pretty frantic.

"Nngh!" Tea Time rubs her forehead with her hoof. She then shakes her head and she seems to regain her focus*

EDIT:She opens fire with a focused spray of bullets again. This time more bullets reach their mark, hitting Kharaazite in the flank.(12 damage)

EDIT:OOC: Ok, instead Tea Time is using Knife in the Dark and doing an arbitrary 6 damage to Kharaazite Also since she used Midnight Blade last turn, she can apply an additional 6 damage once every turn.

EDIT2:Tea Time made her save against Draw Blood.

STL followed behind the artistic one with great, metallic strides, each one compressing the ground with almost a tonne of weight.

"Getting dark," says Miracle. "What say on moving on? Should we take a vote, or something?" To XECA, she says "Just nod or shake your head. What you speak normally, apparently, has way too many x's and z's for me."

Xeca gives Miracle a confused look. "Xrsiczils?"

Miracle sighs. She hoped it would not come to this.

"We..." She encompasses the room with a wave of her hooves.

"Go?" She points to the wheel and nods. Repeatedly, to get her point across.

"Stay?" She points to the brake pedal and shakes her head; again, repeatedly. Lots of pointing and shaking, for emphasis.

Xeca tilted her head, examining the motions carefully.

Finally she nodded. "Weh... go."

"Well, I'll be a pineapple, she actually said something."

"I'm good to continue on for maybe an hour more, but I spent all morning flying. Any idea of how much further it is?"

"Hey, not bad! I bet we could teach her more, right?"

Miracle hops excitedly, then blinks and stills herself. "I have absolutely no idea how far it is. But I could go for some sleep. What about you, short stack?" Then she remembers herself. "Oh, right. We go. Well, we could split the difference- we'll go for three more hours and then sleep. That okay with you, Spike?"

Golden Spike, Miracle Elixir and Xeca drive on as it gets dark. 2 hours into the trip, all three of you reach the desert. Its fairly cool here, and the moon hangs low in the sky. Out in the sky, billions of stars shine in the cloudless sky. Closer to earth the ground is baked and dry from hours of exposure to the sun. Breaking up the monotony of the landscape is the odd cactus or rock that can be seen in the moon light.

As you hit the third hour, you slow the vehicle and prepare to take a much needed rest.

Cloud Brush and Steel Heart reach the Fountain Circle. As mentioned earlier, its a plaza with a fountain in it and the odd tree outside the perimeter. There's a medical tent where you imagine the injured are being taken. A small filly waits with a napping kitten on her back sits in front of a desk in front of the tent. Unusually, there aren't that many ponies here. Just a few elderly ponies, who appear to be chatting in the shade of a tree.

Cloud Brush looks around at the various ponies gathered at the fountain.
hmmmm... now to find someone who can speak a number of languages
