Zilean's Revenge (Part 3)

It's just not something you often hear about. Usually group summonings are for masters, not servants, and result in the group being unable to control it, or getting killed off immediately.

I'll just put in here that I don't like the idea of an air elemental, because I feel there will be times when I need to be able to physically interact with it (grabbing, pushing, choking, getting my point across, etc.)

I am super ok with you not being able to physically assault our assistant.

If you worry about it being "linked" to only one person, I can easily make the elemental's loyalty depend on the location it was summoned in (thusly, it obeys the owners/inhabitants of such, which would include all of you), or whoever it sees at its initial summoning. Or maybe it just works with whoever doesn't choose to intentionally mistreat it (a free spirit!), or where chances to assist come to mind. Or it equally treats the summoner and any of its allies, or whoever seems to need some assistance in housekeeping. Or maybe it requires some trivial form of "payment" for its services (stories! Excitement of adventure! A chance to improve her cleaning skills and get a good referral of job experience, for future employment at some high-profile elemental lord! The honor of working for a group that will save the town from the dirty undead! bard songs to hum whilst doing her work!).

As for physical interactions, wind elementals generally find it rude/annoying to have other creatures invade or interact with their "personal space" without permission (and don't even get them started about crowds...), or otherwise treat them as though they're just empty space that is free to occupy (a sentiment shared by ghosts and similar non-corporeal creatures), so you could "get a point across", if you REALLY felt the need for such.

There's nothing less satisfying than trying to grab something and being unable to.

If you need to grope something, you can use Rolf's elemental, or Jeraylia.

So, final assistant stats: Athletics +15, it's almost like flying, telepathy. The personality will be french maid, as requested.

As the spell enters its final phase, a mass of black, white, and gray vapor suddenly starts coalescing. A vaguely humanoid, feminine figure starts forming, its "body" comprised entirely of gray vapor and whistling air. The black and white vapor then drapes over it, forming what can best be described as "windy clothing" of a somewhat exotic style. The creature has no face to speak of, its head and other features defined by streaks of candle-like smoke, shaped and behaving like knee-length hair, if gravity didn't affect it. The delicate-looking figure floats in front of you, bowing slightly. It emits a few flute-like tones and whistling melodies, and everyone present feels a feminine voice in their minds.

"Bonne nuit! You are in need of assistance?"

If Horizon wants to be able to count to five on one hand, he'd better not.
Here's a thought, just putting it out there, but we could say that it requires a drop of blood to key it to its masters, so that more than one person can use its services, not just the summoner. If we want to get more complicated, it could also slightly effect its personality, so that it's an amalgamation of all its previous masters, while also having its own strong base personality (but this one requires a bit too much thought and backstory).

That last part would probably cause it to be completely insane (even if we were its only masters ever). Also, the drop of blood thing is good... provided it was part of the ritual and not just y'know... ever.

I was gonna ask her name but, it didn't seem to fit in with what I was saying. I leave the job to someone else. Or are we voting on one?

He looked at the wind elemental's "uniform". "We may have need of your assistance, although what we ask may be...a bit more dangerous than your regular duties."

On a similar vein of that last suggestion, how about Calycia?

Becky, Zuul, Splinter, Ghastly, Gargoyly, Dazzler, Tomato, Aunt Jemima, Toblerone, Teufelhund, Moeanimunyan Kawaiidesuchan. Because names.

Don't forget about "French" female names.  

Toast? But, that's hardly a name at all!  

Hmm. How about Jennifer?

Marie Antoinette, and we can have a gag where she gets decapitated, and we're all like "Oh noooo", and then her head reforms instantly, and then we're like "oh yeah".

Names that seem decent: Calycia, Marie, Sefarina, Canace, Jennifer.
Names I came up with: Zéphyrine, Coro, Maryse, Zoé

Interested in any of them?

Momentarily confused by the elemental's statement; as Rolf already did that, Zthulan decides to go next. "My apologies. I am Zthulan and this is my spiritual companion Koras. As Rolf has already said your aid would prove invaluable to us."

No further input on the name from me, I'm never going to use it.

She's a dumb idiot airhead elemental- Canon. She's all athletic, but a complete moron.
