I think it's more a matter of me not being creative enough. I mean, I've had two characters that have sufficed for most situations (mostly because I wasn't in a whole lot of games), but now I can't think of anything to top what I've already made in the past.

Well, there's possibly one more prospect, but its nothing certain either. And you don't need to have a character soon, necessarily, only to make use of the possible introductory situation I have which is rapidly approaching. If you want to take time and come up with something, you can come in at just about any point.

Couple of questions.

1: Are you still using the race/utility talent divide?
2: Is there a Diamond Dog in the party?

1) No, just before Wanderlust dropped I agreed to let everyone switch to Abilities if they wanted, and now its more or less officially what we're using. I wouldn't be opposed to using it, but it'd be tricky to balance against.

2) There have not been any Diamond Dogs, and I would also consider them a bit tricky to fit, for societal reasons. But it could work.

No, it's all right, I'd use the Abilities system too.

As per Diamond Dogs... well, I'm still debating whether to join or not, or whether I have an interesting enough character. A Diamond Dog mercenary came to mind...

Well we already had a Griffon Mercenary, and I believe he was responsible for the only on-screen death caused by the party so far. If you saw my PM, though, then you know that some counseling will be needed for such a character.

Two questions
1)Am I going to be able to negotiate this contract if I see something I don't like here?

2)The level 4 ability of for the Miracle Worker ability. Will I be able to use the below to create the antidote for the Blue Moon virus? It says I can treat an attempt to treat an affliction as a Nat 20 and the Blue Moon Virus would probably fall under the category of affliction.

You have gained the skill of a healer and the treatment of ailments has become routine to your skilled hands. Three times per day you may treat your next skill check to treat an affliction as though you rolled a natural 20.

1) There isn't any legal jargon or longwinded doublespeak in the contract, it's pretty much like 2 sentences that says "Storm and Quick Fix go into business together to manufacture and sell a prototype recipe for this disease." I'll let you know for free Quick Fix has no idea this is a poison. There's nothing in there you didn't verbally agree to. (And don't worry, this isn't a Pinkie Promise).

2) I don't know. I don't think so, you aren't physically curing anything by mixing ingredients to make a serum. You should go ask in the Simple Questions thread, and whatever the devs say I'll go with.

Hey, I PMed Bronymous about joining up. When I get the time today I'll start building up a character sheet (I assume we're using Skype rules) and try to catch up the story so far (not necessarily in that order).
Just to warn though, I am pretty much a newb at PT so I apologize if advance if I derp out with this. (I'll post/pm any questions I get while getting my bearings.

Alright, but make sure you're using the right system, and try to go back and find the special rules that are set up. You unfortunately don't get the luxury of porting from a legacy character, so you're pretty much stuck with what's in the book- unless you want to try and go find some old stuff you might want. Just things to think about.

Should Storm be doing something? At the moment he's just waiting for Juniper to return.

Also, are you okay with Xel's comment in the 'Ask A Simple Question' thread?

I was just giving you the opportunity to explore, run off, burn the house down, etc. If you're just waiting I'll go move on. As for Xel's comment, he's not a dev. I'll poke someone and get an official response.

Hey guys, I plan to join up for this RP.  Is there any thing the party particularly needs right now? In addition, as I'm an absolute newb at this I would like at least feedback on characters before I submit (so I don't build an absolutely useless character).  I look forward to playing with you guys.
