Jeraylia nods to Zthulan and pulls down the cowl of her robe to shadow her face. She steps behind Horizon as he starts to berate the cultists and puffs herself up to look menacing.

Re: Zilean's Revenge (Part 4)
Rolf looked over at the "freed" man as the others started heading toward the cultists. "I suggest you find some place to hide near the southwest area. That way you'll be ready to escape with the rest of the group once we enact the plan." Rolf then used his last charge of his invisibility spell and started making his way over to the cages that held the "racing" monsters. "It would be best to keep this "show" from even starting if we can," he thought.

Re: Zilean's Revenge (Part 4)
Glazow quickly runs towards the designated escape spot.
Jeraylia's attempt to look meanacing results in her puffing up her cheeks like a frog or squirrel would. It does not do much to intimidate them.
About half of the cultists (most of them mildly inebriated) listen to Horizon's commands, and head out towards the fire spot to assist with it, or to go looking for intruders. Two of those ordered to look for intruders get suspicious, however.
"Wait a minute, how do we know you're not the 'intruders'?"
Rolf's does not appear to be noticed by anyone in his invisible state for now - they're too distracted focusing on the rest of the party, or too inebriated to do so.

Re: Zilean's Revenge (Part 4)
Horizon, undeterred by his teammates' lack of imposition, makes up for it by grabbing the cultist by the throat, and pulled him in close. "The same way you know Zilean isn't the intruder, or would you like to go ask him as well?" He tightens his grip ever so slightly. "Either way, you don't get your ass moving you'll be going to see him. And what with all the sabotage going on, I'm certain he's not in any mood to humor your stupid questions. His orders, my orders, your orders, follow them. Got it?"

"Y-y-yes!",The cultist replies, and runs off, crying. He doesn't soil himself, but his (and Horizon's) display does motivates a few more cultists to go with him.
There are now about 10 cultists hanging around the area, half of which are focused on the "race track", getting it ready to start and setting bets, and the other half are taking care of the cages and prisoners within.
You can all roll perception.

Re: Zilean's Revenge (Part 4)
Looking over the situation, it appears the cultists near the cages are a bit better armed than the rest - maces, morning stars, short swords, a halberd, missile weaponry... The ones at the "race track" are also armed, but lightly - a dagger and wand, or two, simple clubs and saps, and whips.
The "track" cages all appear to contain zombiefied creatures, all crippled in some manner:
- A human zombie with no lower body, crawling by pulling itself by its hands.
- An eyeless, blind zombie of a Dragonborn.
- A one-legged semi-skeletal, semi-zombified Ogre, with a chain on his neck and leg, forcing it to "walk" on all three legs clumsily.
The prisoners on the other end appear to be restrained to wooden stakes by simple chains, and are:
- a Dwarf woman.
- A Thiefling male.
- A half-elf male.
The other cages, its contents guarded or agitated by the better-armed cultists near them, contain:
- A live bear, with a few open wounds, including an arrow in its back.
- A cage with about 8 prisoners, all male, of various races - Orcs, half-Orcs, Humans, Thieflings, Deva, Elves and half-Elves, Dwarves... All of them appear to have been abused, as evidenced by bruises and whip-marks.
- A cage with about 12 prisoners, all female, also of various races. They appear to have been treated no differently from the males, and some are crying in anguish.
- A cage, containing a small, short-haired dog. It sits idle.
- A cage with a pack of six hyenas and an undead tiger, which is feasting on a hyena corpse. The hyenas are smartly keeping their distance from it.

"Ok, hold up." Horizon directs his attention to the other two. "How stealthy can either of you be? Whichever is best at it, make your way to one of the prisoner cages and make them aware of what's about to happen. Make a show of tormenting them some more if you need to, but try to get the cage at least partially open without drawing attention. The other comes with me, we'll keep working the redirection angle. I don't like the chances of us against a group this large and well armed, so if we play cool and careful, we should avoid a problem long enough for Rolf to do whatever he does. Then we use the confusion to our advantage, kill a few necros, and make a break for the gates." He takes a look back along the cages. "Worst case, be ready to unleash the animals. It'll potentially give us a distraction, so long as we don't get eaten."
Whichever one of you is better at stealth. Once everything breaks loose, someone can escort the group while the rest hold back the bad guys.

Jeraylia makes a short murmur, volunteering for the operation. She walks over to the cages in a swagger. Affecting an accent similar to what she's heard so far, she croons out a venomous spiel. "So these are our poor, miserable unfortunates. How long do you think they'll last?" She barks a harsh laugh and nudges another cultist, taking a spot next to them. "Hello, my pretties. Whose feeling alive today?"
Two rolls, persuasive bluff to insinuate myself. Perception to see which prisoner still has some spunk, or looks the wisest.

Jeraylia's words incite scowls among the prisoners, and some of them turn away from her - they're buying her act. She's unable to discern any wisdom in their faces, so much as despair and apathy. One of them stands up to talk to her.
"Open that door and we'll see who'll be feeling alive.", replies a scarred Dragonborn. One of his arms features a crudely bandaged, freshly-bleeding stump, right above the elbow.
"Oi, what's your business with these louts? Last track-round ain't over yet.", asks the guard of the cage, armed with a morning star.

"Don't worry about it." Horizon says as he approaches behind Jeraylia. "All of you listen up. If you haven't been made aware yet, there are intruders slinking about the camp." He does his best to draw all of the guards' attention away from Jeraylia. "They have already burned down a tent and sabotaged one of the batteries. The damage is fixable, but the saboteurs must be rooted out and kept from escaping. Everyone that can be spared is to help with the search. All of you head to the east of the camp, search and hold the gates- the workers there are dead, so that's where they came in, and must be secured. The boss wants all hands, but one or two of you should stay behind to ensure there is no attempt made to rescue the prisoners or release the beasts."

Re: Zilean's Revenge (Part 4)
"Oh, a firey one!" Jeraylia guffaws. Using her stage experience in ventriloquism, she splits her voice into two streams, one a tormenting retort, "Certainly not the cold, silent type, but you can't be sure until they open their mouths. Can you breath fire for me, little man? I need one of these. Turns out the slave down at the south gates died of exhaustion, the weak, pathetic fool." And the other, a whispered revelation, thrown towards the dragon-born prisoner. "Well, you have spunk at least. Don't react to this whisper. Just get ready to lead them to the west gate. We're breaking you out." She turns back to the cage guard. "So we need a replacement. Maybe two if we want to get this done tonight."

Re: Zilean's Revenge (Part 4)
Whether the dragonborn understood or believes Jeraylia is fairly unclear - he just remains silent, his eyes narrowed.
"You kidding? If they've sabotaged all those parts of the camp, they'd be bound to come here. Would be stupid to leave. Plus, you've just sent all those others around - by the time we reached the gates, to secure them, they'd be out, flushed by the others searching. We're already undermanned here anyway. Go pester those gamblers instead.", the guard gruffly responds to Horizon.
"And sorry, missy, but if it's an emergency as your pal here says, I don't think menial labor takes priority anymore. Hang on, is that them?", the guard replies Jeraylia, pointing southwards, towards a number of robed individuals, who are approaching from the south.

"And yet, boss's orders. You want to argue, take it up with him..." Horizon follows the cultist's gaze to the approaching figures. "Look like our guys to me." He moves to get a better look, stopping by the cage with the tiger and hyenas. "Orders stand for them, too, either way."

Re: Zilean's Revenge (Part 4)
There does not appear to be anything else of note with the hyena/tiger cage. The cage resembles a circus or prison cage, made of a mixture of iron bars, wood, and metal, and was most likely here before the explosion as part of the festivities, along with its animal occupants. It's "door" is locked with a typical large mechanical padlock, the key of which is probably a bit larger than average.
Zthulan notices that the north-western tent appears to be lit, but there isn't anyone else there.
The approaching-from-the-south cultists appear to be armed with tools and crude weapons, excluding one who is holding a blood-stained crossbow. Another one of them is holding a blood-stained slave collar with a broken chain.

Re: Zilean's Revenge (Part 4)
Judging by the condition of the "racers", Rolf determined that they probably wouldn't be an immediate threat to anyone, and fairly trivial to the few guards that were guarding them. However, judging by the cultists coming from the south, what was needed was an immediate distraction.
The bear would do nicely, hopefully.
Rolf carefully tried to make his way over to the bear's cage and tried altering the padlock to essentially create an "unlocked" padlock, with a gap in the shackle that would allow the lock to be taken off quickly, but not be immediately noticeable to the guards.
Roll for Stealth...18 (1d20) + 6 + 10 (Stealth Mode) = 34

Rolf stealthily alters the lock - it's not obvious, but it now takes little more than a solid bump or a push to open it now, from either side of the door. The bear sniffs around in apparent confusion.
Of the five cultists at the "tracks", two of them look slightly inebriated. The rest look fairly sober, but and are currently focused on their bets and money involved.

Re: Zilean's Revenge (Part 4)
With the first success, Rolf wanted to get more things prepared before the big "jail break". He went over to the male prisoner's cage and attempted the same spell on that lock as well.
Magical Tricks, yadda, yadda.
Rolling for Stealth...11 (1d20) + 6 + 10 (Stealth Mode) = 27
The plan was to get as many cages done as possible, then let loose the "distractions", then the prisoners. However, the main concerns were the undead tiger and the giant undead ogre. If the necromancers could directly control them, it would be more hazardous to have them out of the cages, where the necromancers could use them to impede or harm the prisoners. Rolf tried to remember what limited knowledge about necromancy he knew to see if this was a valid concern.
