Sky Wolf eye's widened when he felt the change is pressure, quickly realizing what it meant. "To the sides, now!" Sky Wolf yelled, diving to the left himself. Unfourtantly, the delay of realization, then giving the order, slowed him down. It didn't take long for Sky Wolf to realize that he wasn't going to avoid the back-lash completely.

Diamond Dust instinctively braced himself against the backdraft. While he managed to stay on his hooves, he noticed the blue pegasus seemed to be having more trouble "Whoa!" he said, rushing forward to help him

While the wall didn't initially budge when she touched it, Terra's verbal request was granted. "Welcome Princess." Some sort of internal mechanism buckled and the wall quickly slid down into a groove in the floor. Before her was a closet sized room with an earth pony statue with a gold necklace dangling across outstretched hooves as if it were offering it to Terra.

In the nick of time, Diamond Dust managed to tackle Sky Wolf out of the way of the erupting flame. The explosion seemed to have snuffed out most of the fire but flames slowly started to reignite as a wind pulled inward from outside.

Puzzlemint rubbed her chin. "I was involved in investigations but not this particular bust." She looked over to one of the other officers. "We just brought it as we found it. He said this is the real deal, right?"

"I'm fine, thanks." Sky Wolf said briefly, quickly getting back to his feet. "C'mon, best get going before it can recover." With that said, Sky Wolf quickly moved forwards, falling back into his canter. The faster they got to the ponies trapped inside, the better.

Silver Night watched as the unicorn and pegasus talked hurriedly to each other, and ran into the building. He didn't think they looked all that bad, but it was rather suspicious, running into a place entrenched with apparently magical fire. Of course, they could just be more people trying to help, it's not that odd... Still, better safe than sorry, he wasn't going to follow them directly. He looked around at the building, looking for any other potential entrances, or exits, as a quick exit might be necessary. As he went about looking for an entrance, he also tried to figure out where the screams of terror were coming from.

"Excuse me," he said to the stallion staring worriedly at his shop and home engulfed in mystic flames, "Where might your family be in your store? Where would your family gather in case of emergencies?"

Terra cautiously approaches the statue. After quickly giving the statue a once over for traps she takes the necklace from the statue's hooves and places it around her own neck.

Upon putting the necklace on, the statue in front of Terra suddenly collapsed into a pile of dust. Royal Riff stared on in amazement. "Is the necklace of some importance?"

The stallion nervously replied to Silver Night's question. "We usually would go to one of the rooms in the back but that's the direction the fire came from!"

Sky Wolf and Diamond Dust swiftly moved farther inward until they came to a back bedroom. A mare and colt were huddled in the corner as the flames slowly started to build back up. An orange jewel was setting on a desk in the sunlight and it glowed like the fire in the room.

"When I said bust I meant the raid when we got these. I wasn't there since I was looking into other leads."

Sky Wolf didn't hesitate, even with the odd and curious gem, he went over to the two ponies. Calmly, he said. "Get up, we are going to get you out of here. Any information about what's causing the fire would be appreciated."

Terra casually shrugs her shoulders. "I do not know, personally I was expecting something more dramatic to happen when I put it on. It may be a good idea to consult a historian."

Silver Night looked around at the building, but could find no better entrance to the store. Then he looked strangely at the shop, as the building seemed to exhale, snuffing out several fires, and slowly inhale again, reigniting some. 'Well, whatever those two did, it worked. They're alright in my books.' He turned back to the stallion, nodded, and galloped into the building, hurriedly searching for the room the family would be in, dodging the flames as they reappeared.

"Beware..." The necklace gently constricted itself to fit Terra. Slowly, the solid walls began to dissolve into sand and close inward...

The mare and colt nodded in response to Sky Wolf. While mildly scuffed, they didn't seem to be badly injured. They nervously started to follow as the jewel glowed brighter and brighter...

"What's taking him so long, Puzzlemint?" "What's the rush? Let him work. Sorry Mr Record. Don't know what's up with him today." Suddenly, the boxes started to glow and the floor began to shake. Without warning, the floor collapsed...

Diamond Dust turned to leave as well, but as he left the jewel on the table caught his eye. "Hey, did this jewel thing start the fire? Should we do something about it?" he called after them

"Leave it for now." Sky Wolf said, focusing on getting the mare and colt out of the house as quickly as possible, not wanting the fires to flare up before they got out. "Our priority is to ensure that the building in evacuated."

The trio managed to get the mother and child a safe distance away from the building before another backdraft erupted. However, this one was weaker, fanning across the adjacent buildings. Unlike the slow burn from before, the flames were rapidly picking up strength with fireballs launching out in multiple directions.

Puzzlemint was unconscious from the fall but several of the others from the warehouse were aggressively glaring at Ancient Record and slowly moving towards him with ill intent.

OOC:

As Terra tripped, a section of the passage collapsed in front of her, separating her from the rest of the group. It felt like the floor itself was lowering as the the walls seemed to re-harden. "How...disappointing. A princess should be better fit than this." The necklace cast a gentle glow over the area, exposing that Terra was now in an entirely different area with an intersection in front of her.

"Building evacuated." Sky Wolf said as he turned back to said building. "Normally I would suggest leaving the fire-ponies to fight the blaze. However the fire seems to be alive and intelligent, so is best to eliminate it quickly and efficiently." Turning back o the mother and child, Sky Wolf said calmly but seriously. "If either of you have any information about what may be the cause of this living fire, please share it. Any and all information will help us stop the fire from causing any more harm."

Fire:

In front of Terra was silence, to her left was the sound of motion, while to her right was the sound of water. "The necklace? Yes, let's go with that. I'm disappointed in you but I feel the time after Tirek probably made the princesses softer due to the prevailing peace. Though I guess that's a good thing...to not know prevailing darkness."
